Or consider a ghillie blanket/hat/overcoat.
and for a Ghilli I would recommend Tactical Concealment. I have a Cobra Hood and cant complain at all, but it does take some effort to 'build' it properly.

As for Camo..i have had a set pf Kryptec Highlander for a quite a few years and which served me well.

I just wear solid color pants from either fjallraven or prana zion pants (have crye woodland and multicam for the larp). I either just go with flannel top or just throw a camo field jacket or combat top on. I wear my kuiu gila top during summer for shooting competitions or hikes or hunts because it keeps me cool and gives me protection against the sun. Really you just want something that works good enough and you can use to ID who your friends are. Or you like how it looks. IIRC they did WW2 studies where forward observers had a harder time spotting troop movement wearing solid colors compared to camo patterns.

Almost all of my stuff is ranger green. Really, if you actually go outside with your kit and never wash it, even a solid color achieves its own camouflage "pattern" over time.

Gear Aid's Snow Camo Form tape is pretty good for camouflaging a rifle during winter. I've seen people use white gaffer tape on stuff, too.

Back in the old country people used white cloth medical tape, worked well enough.

soon we will see top ten tips to enriching uranium but pls keep the fedposting to a minimum based fellow militiamen
Top 10? It's not really that sophisticated - it's just the temperature and rpm requirements.

You have to vapourise it, and then repeatedly separate it via a vortex - a centrifuge. Have two outlets, placed at different points and the uranium will separate into two - enriched, and depleted.

Repeat many times and you'll get the nuclear level. Same goes for most isotopes, it's the same principle as distillation - one of them is heavier than the other - except it's done with two almost identical types of heavy metal.

I tend to wear a weird camo around my area for spring and summer. It was labeled Russian palma camo and is now unobtanium now unfortunately. Breathes well and the internal gators keep out ticks.View attachment 6151781

All those little fabric shops you can find dotted around america for old ladies will let you buy tiny sample pieces. No idea if they have a broad range of camo choices tho lol.

Camo is great for LOS detection from the naked eye, however taking into consideration that even a basic retard can afford and pilot a drone with a 1080p camera and thermal/nightvision systems are becoming more mainstream and affordable, there are other considerations to make. Some of your best "camo" will be cover and concealment and planned movement over already realized avenues of egress/approach.

Here are a couple of helpful videos on camo from my favorite guy on this, S2 Underground:
  • Point on drones:
  • Point on NVS/Thermals
Aaaay I love undergrounds channel!

If I buy gear and want it in a specific camo not offered (i.e. it only comes in the US standard or black) what do you do? Just spraypaint it?
People do spraypaint their gear, but I'd recommend you look around and don't hold yourself to a certain brand, since someone definitely makes something in the camo you want, or even style of gear since you'll be buying a bunch to find something that "fits" you or just buying something you just found because it's neat.
