277 2.77.3 (questionable numbering, obscure short)

277 was corrected several pages later in this post: https://kiwifarms.st/threads/can-so...me-i-dont-get-it.190413/page-26#post-18318688 a user found a Chinese film from 1960 with 277 in the title.

If you are going through old posts for verification I would suggest looking at 471,485, and 494 these we just cheaped out on and used posters containing the number in them.

As @WhiteNight pointed out I think short and obscure films are fine, of course we want to be as inclusive as possible to stretch the list out for as long as we can but at the same point in time we don't want to just upload Youtube videos, title them 500...501 etc. I'd devised a seven point test to determine if a selection actually qualified as a movie or not. In order to qualify it has to have one of the following:

1. An IMDB thread
2. Have a wikipedia page
3. Have been submitted to a film festival
4. Have been screened or shown somewhere in a formal capacity
5. Have something uniquely film about it (such as it's own custom soundtrack)
6. Has been released on some format (DVD, VHS, Beta etc)
7. Been created by somebody known as a filmmaker who intended for this to be seen as a film.

But yes you are right there should be no TV shows or episodes these should be cleaned up

Debateably they do. Made for TV films do but episodes of TV shows do not, if it's part of a larger show it wouldn't work, but if it was it's own stand alone film then it would be good.

Honestly it wouldn't be a bad idea to have one of the mods lock the thread when we reach 1000 for a week or so and then somebody whose both autistic enough and has enough free time (so probably me) go through and play janny by check each entry/create a list to make sure all are valid before moving on into the 1000s.

Unfortunately I'm a bit hesitant to OK this one. as I think it technically doesn't hit the definition of a film. While it does have a couple web entries about it I'm not really sure it passes any test to make it 'officially a film', as far as I'm aware the creator has no IMDB presence nor has created any other film. Additionally as far as I can tell this hasn't been formally screened somewhere before/been submitted to a film festival.
