Canada is a failed state

It really does amaze me that our government is so retarded that they think they can somehow politick their way out of this shit. Like, they think they can just debate the USA into backing down when Trump is president. It's deranged. If Trump decided tomorrow that he wanted to own this country, there is fuckall anyone in the entire world could do to stop him. Oh sure, the UN would cry and piss and moan about it, but that wouldn't actually stop it. Same thing with the tariffs, same thing with cozying up to China. "Haha u big orange dum I sucked Xi Jinping's dick and he's gonna train his troops here wut r u gonna do about it lololol" says the Canadian politician. "Invade you pre-emptively to defend my borders", says the American, and all the Canadian can do is seethe.

The bottom level, the baseline rule of politics is military power. If you have no military power, you do not have a seat at the table of politics when the real business gets done. Any politician should know that, but apparently ours are even dumber than the ones they elect over in the third world.

I like Canada, and I want Canada to succeed, but wouldn't all this shit with tariffs would go away if you guys would stop letting people use your country as a relay for fentanyl mules and Chinese spies? It wouldn't even require a huge political or cultural shift, and the infrastructure to deal with it already exists. I always got stopped and questioned when entering Canada by a bunch of men that seemed to take their jobs very seriously. Get back to that. Just because something might inconvenience the jeets, chinks, and niggers doesn't mean it's an international human rights violation.

Also just saw where Canada is ordering a farm in BC to kill 400 ostriches due to avian flu. The oldest one is in its 30s.

You say that like:
  1. We have any choice in the matter, politically.
  2. The majority of the population isn't completely brainwashed to worship diversity and hate America.
  3. It's even possible to do in a reasonable timeframe if we wanted to do it.
This shit has been a looooooong time coming, and there's far too much inertia to change anything now. The only way would be a civil war, and if there was a civil war the USA would just step in right away to annex us anyway because they can't risk us becoming a Russian/Chinese puppet state (more than we already are).

It's pretty clear they took the US relationship for granted. Friendly relationships require work and reciprocity too maintain. And the moment a breakdown starts happening the solution is to not say how evil the other side is and threaten to go hang out with their enemies

Especially not when the other side is the most powerful country on Earth and you have a military that would get rolled by a mid-sized African nation in a land war. It's suicidally insane.

I think a primary issue with this is that most people in Canada are so Laissez-faire about everything political. For instance a majority of people don't watch the news anymore, or let alone read into current events. Trying too talk too other Canadians around my age is painful since the only "news aggregators" they use are Facebook and Reddit.

And on the topic of Facebook, alot of Americans/internationals have forgotten that all news sources are banned on the platform. So on top of people not caring too pay attention, they let idle memes or left swinging news sources too tell them about what's going on.

It's kind of a relief finding a forum structure online too actually have discourse about current events in this country. Unfortunately I find a majority of the population are comfortable with their heads in the sand.

To be fair most Canadian politicians are those from the Third World (just the ones who couldn't hack it over there)

There are three ways.
One is millitary might, where you can defeat your enemies in battle
One is economic might, where you can buy your enemies or outproduce them
One is information might, where you control what your enemies believe is real

Canada has none of them.

financial might
Irrelevant if you can't defend it, requiring military strength.
information might
Barring some kind of absolutely insane religion scenario where you're the holy land and a gigantic country worships you (*cough cough*), wildly impractical unless you're imposing cultural hegemony using power projection, which can only be achieved by militarily powerful nations or those nations defended and endorsed by them. See: all of history.

But yes, we have none of those.

It all boils down to military in the end. You're not a real country if you can't defend your borders, you're not worthy of respect if you're not a threat. Obviously the level of power required to engage differs depending on who you're talking to and how far you are from them, but in both of those respects we have the worst possible matchup with the USA. If we even had enough power to bloody the nose of the states there would at least be a debate, but we do not. They could literally trade lives and equipment 2:1 for our equivalents and barely feel the loss it would take to devastate us.

give citizenship preferences to native English and native French speakers.
Saar all Indians who finish school are native English speakers.

And as for native French speakers 140 million Africans speak French.

I also hope every Canadian who is not a mongoloid gets out of this situation without horrible consequences,

unlikely not when the liberal majority of the country plans to use whatever damage they can cause Trump to do for polticial gain rather than fix an already broken country about to get a whole lot more broken. could go on for the next 4 years.
