If they were like "The Nuns smacked the ever loving shit out of us with rulers." I would actually believe that, because that is shit Nuns do.

They got the standard "nunning" discipline which probably included the strap if they misbehaved but so did every white kid in Canada that attended Caltholic school.

But that wouldn't be very interesting would it if they just admitted to that?

Anyhow, there's been some of talk in this thread about elections, and parties, and Poilievre, and the uselessness of the Charter. However, I think all of that is just window dressing. Electing the CPP or adding / erasing lines to the Charter is tantamount to the proverbial deck chairs on the Titanic. None of that matters if pinkhaired shitlibs hold complete control over the education system in every province (and state- unfortunately this is not a problem limited to Canada). When your enemy has a monopoly on access to the minds of children for twelve years or more, you will lose in the long term. Every. Single. Time. 100%. I remember one assignment in Grade 6 we were split into multiple groups and each group had 3-4 kids on a team. The purpose was to do a land dispute debate where one side were the descendents of Chuggs and the other were the WASP landowners.

I was one of the WASPs and we won our debate (while most other groups the Chuggs won) due to my argument that the native tribe we were up against were British allies that helped us drive off the French allied Huron. Hence they can go suck a dick it ain't their land.

I wonder how the same assignment would go today almost 15 years latter?

My elementary school days were filled with that colorblind multiculturalism the late 90s and early 00s are known for. Looking back on the songs that were sung in music class back then, a large number of them were unbearably preachy to the point that the indoctrination is glaringly evident.

I was taught more about the local breeds of Injun, but hardly any world history beyond WWI and WWII.

Honestly, even by their own 'diversity' standard, Canada is failing. 1/5 of immigrants are from India alone (thats not including Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, or Pakistan).

The country used to have laws that held that no single nation could be so dominant in terms of emigration (ie, 5% of immigrants max should come from a single nation).
Even our immigration isn't actually diverse, its all just Indian now. Shouldn't there be limits for the sake of diversity?

Europeans don't want to come to Canada any longer either. Less than 10% of our immigrants are from the continent as a whole. Something has seriously gone wrong here, if Europeans aren't coming over, the boats probably sunk. In just a few decades, we went to 60% European emigrants, to less than 10%.

Not tackling this from a white supremacist background or anything similar, but like- it used to be that people had their pick of 1st world nations and would actively seek out Canada, above all the European nations they may be able to choose to live within. That kind of shows that at one point, we had a decent enough society to attract top talent.

I have no idea how anyone could have looked at the demographics for quite some time and not come to the conclusion that the destiny of the country is to be a shitty Asian concrete economic zone.
