I assume you guys have seen this from based Ikumi Nakamura? If not, then uh, surprise!

I'd say Star Gladiator considering the look of the new Star Wars movies, but I know that the Mouse is one ugly motherfucker of red tape to deal with.

So I'd say something extra new and popular that's recently not been in production for the last five years.

I'd rather see a new Dino Crisis or Ghosts 'N Goblins. The fighting game franchises have been dead or slowly dying for a while now. I doubt you'll see a Street Fighter 6 for a while.

Ugh, Okami? Really?

Honestly, it'd be a lot better if they brought back Dino Crisis or Darkstalkers, even Ghosts N' Goblins or Onimusha.

Do you really want to see Capcom handle Darkstalkers the same way they did Street Fighter 5? I don't. I could see another crossover game happening minus Marvel characters.

True, they did drop the ball pretty hard with Street Fighter 5.

But then again, the Resident Evil 2 remake was pretty based as fuck, so I'm cautiously optimistic about Capcom getting better.

Different departments. Whoever it is or was -as they fired Ono and hired another guy- who was overlooking the fighting game dept just kept fucking up. I doubt they learned from their multiple mistakes because Street Fighter 5 is still terrible. The only thing they seemed to learn is to put in more nostalgic characters for that DLC money.

For me, it's gotta be Draggy D.

Steel Battalion would be cool too though, if they totally remade the campaign. I had the first game (with that huge controller)...and sold it like two weeks later because while the controller was AWESOME, the game itself was nearly unplayable trash. I'm mad at myself for selling the controller, but I swear that game fucking sucked ass.

Edit - I now see it's Okami. Guess i'll go kill myself.

What bugs me so much is that SF4 was sooo good, Same as RE4 (But let's pretend the horrible original PC port didn't happen) , Same as DMC4... Capcom can clearly not count up to 5 without fucking it all up.

I would have gone full in day one on a Lost Planet 4.

Lost Planet 5 though...

Guys, it's not comfirming that Okami 2 is hapening. Capcom did not say a thing about it, and Kamiya is jumping the chance to get interest by saying he wants to.

That said, it already happened once almost, it's not a stretch that Platinum will do it.

I mean, my heart would like Breath of Fire, but there's no money in traditional turn based RPG's anymore unless you're Dragon Quest.

I'll vote for Drago Dog. It was pretty good, even though the only dialogue left from that game I can remember is WOLVES ARISEN!

I dought it, just because square enix said so once does not mean it can't.
When they made Bravely Default they where suprised how well it sold, They even did the same with Octopath traveler. They just don't want to invest in it anymore because back in the day the PS1 was bombarded with them.
The last full BoF on the PS2 was also a huge departure of the typical RPG fair and made it a timed dungeon crawler, and it got a lot of backlash and is often pointed as the cause why the series is dead.
They tried again on mobile but the less said about it the better.

i was never a big fan of that game, both on PS2 and Wii... Is it really that much of a fan franchise, apart from nostalgia? Honest question, even if it is Okami 2, it's very niche.

Oh I mean, I know about Bravely Default and Octopath they're great, but they weren't exactly made by Capcom.

Literally the only good thing about BoF VI is at least they didn't harvest the IP for Pachinko.

Strider could have been an interesting franchise to milk, just like Bionic Commando, if they hadn't already fucked that one up with both of the Strider 2 games, (16bit and PSX ones) and the terrible reboot for PS3 and PC.
edit: It's how I feel about Ghouls and Ghosts, and Ghosts and Goblins, Capcom isn't capable of that anymore. Some of the best ever games made, but some of the worst when it comes to management.

Did you ever play zelda? I'm not joking that this one game is better then a good chunk of the 3D ones.

Strider could work well like a devil may cry style game, but capcom already has one of those.

Please, let it be Dragon's Dogma ;~;

I couldn't take the MMO. You had to keep quiet lest they banned you, and translating new content even with the English patch was a pain in the ass. Plus they keep porting it to new consoles for extra sales. They're prepping for the sequel, they just needed some extra cash.

Yeah, I agree, I would also say Gargoyle's Quest was better than Zelda, but that's just me. That was Capcom too...

Don't know about that... PS3/PC Strider wasn't Strider, it was pretty much DMC again. Bayonetta was more of a Strider game than Strider.

I'd be happy with this too, but Dino Crisis would be great too. Or Lost Planet 4.

Or StreetFighter 6*sigh*
