Capcom's War Against Modding - Games older than ten years shall not be spared from Capcom's DRM against modding because some coomer couldn't keep his nude mods from spilling out of his pants at a tourney.

Well luckily I only have one Capcom game, monster hunter world on the Switch. Haven't played it and probably won't in the future. Probably would kill my switch anyway

I honestly wonder if Steam will allow people to get a refund for MHR now cause the whole point of Steam was to a give people a better alterative to pirating along with not working on Steam's big focus right now. Capcom is just making everything worse and leading people back to pirating games.

Agreed. We need to bring back the old ways.

I miss the days of absolutely unhinged adverts for games. You could never do that these days.
Today, Capcom adds Enigma DRM to MonHun Rise. Now fucks over steamdeck users, game can't be launched anymore.

Makes you wonder if Valve will try and fight this in some way if it's gimping games on their handheld. I figure it's going to cause a lot of people to try and get refunds on the games it's fucking up.
Lotta salty cheaters
I mean you realise it's not going to do shit against actual cheaters right? So it's not them getting tilted. The people getting rightly annoyed are your legitimate consumers who want to use mods with their offline single player. It's making the games Capcom have used it on run worse on top of all that, with some games having massive 15-20fps drops. Capcom like most of the nip companies want to dictate how you play "their" game hence the gay DRM.

A question someone asked pages back but which I never saw anyone answer, so I'm repeating it:

Is this new DRM PC-only or is it coming to consoles like the Switch as well?

Capcom leaned fully into the foot faggotry so they really can't blame any cunt but themselves for coomers drooling over Juri. Her taunts and intros/outros are about as subtle as a brick through your window. I'm surprised they didn't just have the camera zoom right into her feet every time she so much as moves.
If I had to guess, the reason they are leaning into this kind of fetishism is that they probably (correctly) feel like if they go back to good old-fashioned T&A, the "feminists" will cause a ruckus. So yeah, great job danger hairs, thanks to your whining, Capcom, to keep the pervs in the fold, has to go for even more deviant shit.

That does make sense. I assumed it was someone on the dev team's poorly disguised fetish. Either way it's ironic as fuck. Feminists are always shooting themselves in the foot (pun intended) and it is super funny to me that they've opened the door to more degenerate filth. :story: Juri's win pose where she sits on her opponent is already getting wee coomer's dicks hard so as usual feminists and their white knights have made things worse rather than better.

Apparently CAPCOM took a hint from all the review bombing of their games and decided not to go forward with this Enigma autism.

I have said it once, I'll say it again: it feels like the only coom that the terminally online have a problem with is something they think appeals to straight, white Christian males.

Rise still has it, if the recent reviews are anything to go by.
