The Steven Universe 'Garnet-mouth' is what kills me. Also, her hair isn't on the correct art layer. (Her turtleneck should go under her short hair, not over it.)
Despite the fact the series is probably going to be garbage before it begins, there's some fascinating things going on here for such a short trailer.
There's a ton a little nit-picks in this trailer, and I'm sure people will find more of them than me; but they crammed a lot of stuff in the background.
There's a 2006 poster referring to a 'Crystal Cove Fog' event. (Mystery Inc. reference??), a Judy Jetson promo on Velma's Computer, a 'MISSING' poster on the top right of the corkboard (Which spells something akin to 'Diva(?) Dinkley'), a red haired girl posing with a younger Velma (Daphne??) has her eyes crossed out in red X's, also the left succulent plant on her windowsill is cropped a bit too much on its left side.
The living room is oddly empty, but the word 'Family' is placed on top of the fireplace mantel, with a weird Turtle/Capybara animal.
The news headline bit got a bit of a smirk out of me though.
The screen cuts to an ad for Jones Gentlemen's Accessories, which obviously is an acronym for something since they placed JGA in bolder font. The ascot is also a dead giveaway that the ad is hinting at Fred's appearance.

Shaggy is black now, and shall be called Norville. Daphne is a preppy asian, and Fred looks like he jumped out of a Mystery Skulls animation series.
Also there's no Scooby-Doo in this show. (The creators couldn't figure out where to put the silly talking dog, so they just cut him out entirely and said talking dogs were 'too kiddie' for their cool dark mystery show).

It's extremely weird to me that Scooby-Doo isn't in it, even as a pet. Even that retarded hipster comic managed to put Scooby & Scraggy in the story, as garbage as it was. I get the blatant racebending, but how does one take out the titular character & mascot of the series from his own show (without being a spin-off) is beyond me.

Why is it that every other gang member looks like they come from entirely different artstyles, especially Fred? (who will probably end up being the one who is likely going to be the best character if only because every other character would be written far worse trying to ape off the diversity)
Also, Shaggy's black now because of course he is, we can't have them be the way they almost always have been

I like how these people took a look at Daphne's slanted eyes, evil thin eyebrows, and yellow skin and approved of it without a care. Just have to wait and see what her teeth look like for that racist pièce de résistance.

Shaggy's legal name actually is "Norville" (I learned this from reading the ridiculous "Scooby Apocalypse" comic, which is not as bad as it sounds).
What I'd like to know is why Mindy Kaling is getting involved in anything; absolutely no one likes her. I don't know if her supposed "career" is a forced meme in the USA, but where I'm from no one cares about her. She also seems to act like she's the first Asian woman to make TV, which in the UK is definitely not the case. She's never made anything good and I haven't heard anyone express a desire for more of her work.

I have homies in India that can't stomach her, mostly due to her being an unfunny uggo. Also, an American homie found a striking comparison, & I can't get it out my head since the last 4 years, which makes me hate this Velma even more, is that she looks like the Indian version of troon pornstar Jessy Dubai. Her own countrymen (technically she's not born in India, but you get the point) hate her. From an aesthetical point of view, she's no Priyanka Chopra, so people rarely like her in the west too. She's like what Leslie Jones is to everyone including blacks, from an aesthetical point of view.

They might be setting Daphne up to be an antagonist for the early season. Considering that in the trailer a supposed image of her with a younger Velma has her eyes X'd out.
I don't really care enough to watch it when it comes out though. Probably just skim through interesting segments of the show via Utube.
Evil Daphne would be an interesting character; for about 15 seconds.

Over The Garden Wall is the only shining light of animation that deserves the success that it’s gotten over the years. All of these other “cartoonists“ complaining for the sake of complaining can only dream of making a cartoon that is rich with imagination and unique detail to fantasy/wilderness lore.
It’s really a great, and I dare say, under appreciative gem.

These retards deserve to have their jobs Minecraft'd to the fucking Nether. Even if the article is clickbait, these's retards & their attitude is as such that they shouldn't be given a job, even when laid off. In fact, some of them don't work there at CN at all, which makes them even more retarded.
Even when using the same business-minded thinking that Zaslav is using, the clickbait lay-off being real wouldn't have been surprising, the majority of people don't give a shit about CN, there are more people that hate it, than there are people that actually watch it. Like, if they ever have a KyoAni arson situation, no one will donate to them & help them rebuild (like KyoAni). Hell, if anything, there might be some who donate to the arsonist just so he can upgrade from home-made Molotov Cocktails to Grenades, & finish the damn job.
Why would this happen? Because these creatively impotent fucks rarely make anything worth watching. People rarely give a shit about most their shows, TTGO, Regular Show, Adventure Time, Gumball, & some others are the only modern CN shows that I've seen getting some love nowadays, & that's mostly from kids. Other things like Steven Universe, who's majority of fans are lolcows. Any great show with potential to be kino (Symbionic Titan) gets axed for the shit-shows. All this is not even going onto the "anime domination" part, everyone who's not on copium knows that one.
Also, RJ Palmer is a massive faggot, despite his talent.
