CenturyLink/Qwest/Layer3 blocks Kiwi Farms

  • 🐕 I am attempting to get the site runnning as fast as possible. If you are experiencing slow page load times, please report it.
I received a response from CenturyLink that lumen( the same company) blocked kf due to their acceptable use policy.
Sadly they are the only fiber network in my area until Google fiber ramps up.
Just a reminder that this is still not over, Josh is just working around the problem.

But that response is why you should use https://madattheinternet.com/ (or the IP or AS) as an example to avoid having to explain that the site is legal yadda yadda.

@Null do you have an even more innocuous site as a vhost? Or could you set up some simple client side open source html5 multiplayer game. Makes it easier to complain in the future, if you can just link to a game and ask why the fuck it is down (plus playing games is fun).

I called xfinity. Told me they are working on the problem. They fed me some bullshit about an outage. They knew they fucked up and are keeping it hush hush. I'm guessing the dickless man responsible is going to get shit canned. Probably be back up tomorrow, maybe sooner.

I was having Xfinity issues but it's working now for me, I've got the info ready to complain if it goes down again.

WTF - I’m currently at the Verizon store to switch to them and I was testing the viability of their Wi-Fi (able to access this site on their clearnet - nice) but then I switched my Wi-Fi off for comparison and now AT&T is working too.

So AT&T and Verizon are both up on the clearnet.

Trying to access the site from Telstra's mobile network now 503's for fucks sake

Back to using tor to access the motherfucking clearnet

I wasn't able to get on all morning except through Tor or if I set my VPN to places in Europe but it's working like normal again now!

In case you missed it, Josh has deployed a workaround now. But hopefully xfinity fixes it more properly on their end as well (peering directly with Terrahost).

The game idea is actually a pretty smart one. Plus, we get to play games!

Slightly late, but Xfinity is up on my end.

Tried an Xfinity connection using a VPN set to USA, it works now, wasn't working earlier today but was fine yesterday. Looks like it's being resolved.

It's rather slow though in the USA.

I always use KF on my phone’s browser with a VPN connected to a US server. When connected to said server I get an error screen but it works completely fine on a Netherlands server (which is what I’m on right now).

EDIT: Oh I forgot to mention I only started getting these clearnet problems today.
Update on my end. The US servers are now working, but the site is a bit slow.
