CenturyLink has decided they support our actions. I wonder what made them completely switch sides. The customer support representative said they are restricting their transgender network administrators access to make changes to the network. It is for the best you can see how much they already mess up their own bodies we don't need 40% of the internet to delete its self.

If I had to guess, perhaps over the holidays there was a skeleton crew and some up-jumped underling with the boss's keys made the call. It got unfucked after the real boss came back.

This has been a strategy they employ for awhile to deal with unfortunate truths. They believe “truth” is merely prevailing opinion. So if they say it enough, anyone who points out the fallacy is getting their info not from the cathedral but from their own investigation or by listening to and not ignoring outer tribe speak. Many of them are so engrained to this, they believe we are demons for saying what’s clearly a truth, this site is online and accessible. Their cathedral decided the site was shut down a month ago solely through one brave “woman’s” fight against oppression. It’s heresy to point out otherwise.

Once upon a time I signed up a Quora account for some reason. Every couple days they send me an email with the first line or three for around a dozen generally random-ish question/answers from the last day or so. Just got today's. Every. Single. One. was about DNS server stuff. I wonder how much this might be quietly talked about elsewhere.

i was never able to speak with anyone at centurylink. the line kept disconnecting while i was on hold. i filed a complaint with the fcc anonymously (as jayne public, using all of the fcc's contact info as my own except for my anonymous email), but i included redacted screenshots of the lookup, the ping, and the tracert for both kf.net and mati.com. the fcc emailed me a ticket number the next day, and have followed up twice since then.

for those who did not read the privacy notice on the fcc's complaint page, all complaints become public information after resolution, but you can request that your personal information be redacted.

They apparently redact PII. Now, does my real name count as PII, that's a question isn't it?
