So do you think the food Death ate just kinda slid down her body, it does explain how those kids were able to lift her up with ease.

I am really curious what Fujimoto is cooking since Death being suicidal is an interesting direction.

I hope the next few chapters are all about her since she really needs the spotlight, and its also refreshing to have a string of chapters without Denji and Asa.

We now have every major character working to accomplish the same goal, except maybe Real Famine. I have no idea how he'll generate conflict, especially since Death seems to have no motivation to end the world.

Current theory there?

She's forced to by Control 3.

Also, I really hope that Real Famine picks out a different alias. I don't like having to call her Real Famine.
 
My working theory is that this will all be revealed to be a plot by the real villain of the story, the Shitting Your Pants in Public Devil, which will transition the story to Part 3 taking place in India, the last stronghold against the brown menace.

Double post but new chapter came out which gave us more insight into Death's powers.

I'm definitely beginning that reread now.
 
Well, that was horrifying. The idea of eating the death devil came up, which sounds like a super bad idea

I feel like Denji's happiness is honestly kinda unhealthy at this point.

Asa seems like she is resigned to letting Yoru do whatever with her body to feel the happy emotions given they share a brain, and Denji is choosing to be ignorant than acknowledging the reality of how bad his life is, seeking short term pleasures as he actively seems to repress his trauma.

Given what Death wants, perhaps Fakesaw Man and the Real Fami are going to cause problems to snap them back into reality so they can finally fight Death.

denji at this point probably needs to have a relationship with a girl that isnt contracted with or is a devil. But denji hooking up with famine would probably make him feel like hes back in that shed in debt again

To be fair Yoru sorta likes Denji for who he is, but only feels that way because of Asa's emotions influencing her. It doesn't help that Asa actively is repressing her emotions and purposefully lets Yoru out with the belief she'd be the "fun girlfriend" that Denji wants.

Makima didn't love Denji at all and only wanted Pochita for her own ideals and seeing Pochita as the only one equal to her. She didn't give a shit about Denji which is the reason Denji was able to even kill her in Part 1.
