Edit: Is it me but are the openings becoming more and more glitchy?, is that an intentional stylistic choice or did Geno just fuck up the editing from incompetence or fatigue?

It's not Geno's fault, but these latest episodes are punishing to get through. I can only imagine how difficult it was for Geno to spend weeks wading through countless Twitter threads about the Andromeda Galaxy or some such shit. What video we do get is just Chris playing his retarded MLP game by himself. This may truly be the most boring period of Christory.

Well the documentary is up to November 2019. Chris more or less observed the stay at home order during covid so hopefully 2020 and 2021 move faster. We've already seen the "good stuff" with sockness there's not much else to see that happened with that saga.

I often find myself getting distracted and clicking off then halfway through or just not watching them because it's overwhelmingly "And then Chris had this exchange with an anonymous twitter user". At a certain point insignificant social media interactions just come off as a filler.

I listen to them on the drive to work, since the drive is about the length of an episode. When I’m listening to newer episodes I’m sometimes not even sure that I’ve listened to it before, there just so much nothing that all runs together. A few bright spots aside everything post Bob is a big autistic blur.

It also doesn’t help that after he went on hiatus the episodes now take four weeks instead of three. I hope he can pick up the pace once he’s done with his Antarctic but at this rate we won’t get to the incest saga for another year.

Chris in general got extremely dull after 2014ish and he stopped being funny all together after the Idea Guys. Problem with making a documentary so comprehensive is that you gotta include the boring parts.

T'was a joke. I don't think Chris is a literal hermit. Moreso that his idea of a good day is not doing anything other than staying at home and the stay at home order wouldn't impact things much, except there being less eye witness accounts and whatnot for Geno to tackle. A lot of the doc now is just Chris' twitter ramblings, with the occassional sighting mixed in.

Yeah i really don't know how much of that is his fault though, not every aspect of Chris is interesting and you have to take that if anything else regardless of how you feel about the series quality I have to give him props for at least being a good craftsman, he really has stuck it out making as many episodes for years on end documenting this madman trying to take on the most neutral viewpoint. Regardless of whether you think Chris is someone to be taken seriously or not the man has committed to this project for so long and he think he deserves respect for at least that.
