Chris turns 40

That's interesting. I knew Bob had a liking for sonichu, but I think Barb, like with her telling Chris to stop with the attraction sign because it made him look like a slow in the mind, that she didn't stop him from wearing that as well because it could make him a target for harassment, which it did. Chris was clever enough to blend in with "trollin' and rollin''" by making himself look as normal (by normal man standards), and to some extent, Carlos Chantor. But Chris knew what made Chris, Chris, and reverted back to the crazy colored shirts, and along with that, his mindset.

I think they both just humored him whenever he sperged about sonichu, just smile and nod and pretend to be interested like any parent does when their kid talks about their fave cartoon and video game series....except Chris was well past childhood when he did it.

Unfortunately, any other parent would see this and say 'knock it off; you're a grown up now.' With Borb, they didn't see a problem with it until it was too late. I mean, they knew Chris' tism had stunted him emotionally and intelligence wise, they could've have corrected that, but chose not to, sticking Chris in a limbo between adult and child. He's adult enough to make 'decisions', but too childish to accept consequences for his actions, and horrible common sense practices.
 
Wow Chris is 40. The cycle of life moves on. Winter to spring, spring to summer.

At least he moved out of his parent's house before 40. He's got that going for him.
 
By the time Bob was 40 he was already married with a child. He was an army veteran who worked as an engineer for Western electric. It's surreal seeing how different their lives were from each other.

I can just see Chris looking at his birth date and telling himself, "Hmm... alright, this has to be the day those jerks release me. It is single handedly the most important day of the year! They owe me!!"
