In Virginia, class work with live firing is required, so no, most likely not. I don't know the particulars of the application but certainly not anymore after his involuntary incarceration at Western. Chris cannot (legally) purchase a firearm, ever, let alone get a CCW.

Still, a sick part of me is interested in the Chris Chan and his Gun Saga.

The closest you'll probably get is him brandishing Megatron in the videos of old. I'm actually pretty content not to see him actually obtain a firearm given his extreme parallels to Randy Stair at this point.

It baffles me the state of Virginia said "Yeah it's fine to let this tard take on the responsibilities of operating a 2,000 pound death machine he's clearly able to control his car like a normal person" and gave him a license to drive but then when he tried to run over Snyder turned around and said "well clearly this adult autistic child can't be expected to not use his 2,000 pounds death machine to try to squash the Jew during an autistic fit, attempted vehicler homicide is fine w/e" and gave him a slap on the wrist.

Also Barb didn't need to do anything to isolate Chris, he was very skilled at ending up their on his own.

Prior to the macing incident? Possibly, don't know Virginia law but I'm sure there's no legal disbarrment as Chris at the time was still considered "mentally competent". Though at that point it'd be too much work and he'd obviously fail the gun safety course, possibly by flagging everyone and lack of trigger discipline, but after the blarms event. He wouldn't be able to have/hold a license. Depending on state laws, he could purchase a handgun, but not conceal carry.

That really depends on what the result of the competency evaluation was. He has to be adjudicated incompetent with some level of due process to be entirely barred from a CC permit. Virginia is a shall-issue state, although with the issuing authority having limited discretion to deny such a permit.

Since I have no clue what the competency evaluation showed, or even if it was just a competency evaluation, I don't know whether it (or his previous convictions) would trigger VA's power to deny him a CC permit (or the right to have a firearm entirely).

For all we know, he's been adjudicated too nutso-bongo to have a gun, even if he's competent to stand trial.

By competency I meant when he was evaluated as a child for his autism diagnosis. Prior to the macing event, he could've, but post blarms. Most states bar violent offenders from owning firearms coupled with the fact Chris is mentally handicapped. Post incest saga; I've been out for awhile. If I recall due to events Chris has been elevated to a felony charge and felons cant own at all if he's convicted.

I think in Virginia you have to take live firing classes but not only that getting a gun in this country isn't as easy as everyone on TV makes it out to be.
His previous arrests would honestly make it so he could not buy a firearm.
Seriously the assault on a GameStop employee would make it so no one would sell it to him after his background check.

I feel like the “poor autistic manchild needs to car to care for his elderly mother”-angle was played in order for Chris to keep his license. Had Bob been alive and competent to drive them around I don’t think Chris would’ve gotten away so lightly.

by being touchy
hence why they never respond or anything to Chris after graduation.
