Looks to me it's time McDonald's get their new spokesperson.

"Eat Dirty!"

It's like a rolling snowball of lard going slopety slope.
It isn't just his life that is going downhill.

Maybe he finally got around to housebreaking the beagles? Even 15 more minutes of walking a day would be a godsend for a sloth like this.

He should do it with a bottle of Kahlua.

That is pretty depressing if Chris is losing weight because he is too poor to eat 3 meals a day.

Not really, if you consider all the Legos and two vidya systems he just NEEDED to buy.

It is kinda of his fault. *SIGH* :alog: . I guess Legos and video games are more important then food for him at this point.

Poverty can do that to you under three circumstances:

1) You eat less but eat healthier with what little you have.

2) You eat less (and still poorly) but do so because you're blowing money elsewhere (addiction, bad spending, etc).

3) You can't afford anything at all and therefore eat nothing.

Chris is firmly locked in the second. A friend from high school I reconnected with a couple years ago lost a LOT of weight since I had seen him last (graduation) and it was because he was hit hard by the recession. He dropped a ton of weight because he ate 1.5 meals a day for upwards of three years, however rather than buying cheap and unhealthy TV dinners he spent his money on healthier food options. He got less food because of this, but he also didn't visibly look like he'd been through hell.

McDonald's food and whatnot is all seemingly cheap, but it's still more expensive than preparing your own meals. Seems the Chandlers shot themselves in the foot with that one, though.

With a little investment, Chris could pick up a toaster oven from Goodwill (since the Chandlers have an affinity for shopping there). Those kinds of things turn up there all the time. Same with a mini-fridge.

With how bad the hoard is, I don't think a working toaster oven is a good idea.

Didn't consider that. I guess they have a working microwave (previous discussion of Hungry Man dinners) so that will suffice for basic food preparation until cleaning up the hoard is removed from its status of "indefinite hiatus".

Agreed. He needs a hotplate.

A hotplate would also be way too dangerous in that kind of situation. Things could fall on it while it's on and catch fire. A microwave MAYBE, since at least it's a contained system.

In the House Tour video, just before he mentions the Resident Evil fridge, you can see what looks like a toaster oven balanced on top of the rest of the crap just inside the doorway. At first watch I thought it was a microwave that might still be useable because it looks like it's positioned to be accessible.

I think Tubes has fallen to the darkside :D

Even a microwave could kill the hoard. Chris seems like the type to put tin foil in there by mistake. :alog:

I see... and once there is even a mild spark/ flame.. the accumulated fumes and stench and bugs of the house would be such a flammable mixture that all of 14BLC would burst into flames at once?
