Pedo put out a new update a week ago and no one noticed or cared, including his backers. The only noteworthy point is that he's already planning on holding another fundraiser for the next comic despite apparently only spending $15k of the original project's fundraising and having $90k leftover. Why he can't use that money collecting interest in his Robinhood savings account is unclear.

Interest has dropped off massively as he's gone from getting 60-80 reactions and half a dozen comments on each update to only 20~ reactions and 1 comment. People are still asking for a refund and getting ignored:

And one dude wrote a novel dunking on Vito about how he was able to get his own comic project off the ground without begging for handouts in less time than Vito has mishandled this project, all for only $5k:

You'd have to be a real dumbfuck faggot loser to see this debacle, see Vito bragging about still having 80%+ of the original campaign funds a year past its original delivery date, and decide you're going to crowdfund his next project when he could instead fund it himself first and then simply sell it as a finished product like Eric July does.

Also, and this bears repeating: There's no mention, proof, or evidence that Vito has ever had a heterosexual relationship with an adult woman except for a New England school teacher named Abbygale Mertes who independently claimed on Twitter in 2019 that she witnessed Vito beat his girlfriend so viciously that the police had to be involved. His only other apparent adult relationship was with a transgender dominatrix. Merry Christmas!

How about despite the fact he still hasn't shipped or even finished the first fucking book.

You should be barred from launching new campaigns until you fulfil previous ones, unless you can somehow prove it's not possible. Then again anyone who would support Vedo deserves to get conned so it's all good. Be really interested to see how comic number two's grift goes.

I like point #4 where Vito had to rewrite the intro either because he's so bad at writing or his fans are too retarded to understand the premise that superheroes are real in this superhero comic.

Obligatory reminder that this is the comic Vedo claimed would teach Dick Masterson --a man who likes to get fucked in the ass while dressed as a cow-- what good writing actually is.

Please clarify whether I'm getting this right.

1. Eric Julay draws comics, adds some CGI on top of the drawings. This means he is a Bad Artist and should be deplatformed (according to Dax).
2. Vito makes a comic of his own to dunk on Eric Julay, called "Superkiller".
3. Not a single line in Superkiller is drawn by Vito, he pays other people to draw for him. This supposedly proves that Vito is a better artist.

Am I getting this right? What is the logic here?
What about Dax, did he ever draw anything at all? Is he going to narc on himself by sending a snaky email to TDS, claiming that The Dick Show is "impersonating" them?

Some minor corrections:

1. Eric didn't add CGI on top, he traced pre-made 3D assets for negligible things like coffee tables and cars. This is not uncommon practice for creators, especially small-scale publishers who don't have the benefit of an office full of toadies to pick up their slack.
2. This is correct.
3. I don't believe Eric draws any of the art in his comics either, he just writes them. Vito's contention was that he was the better creator, not artist. Either way it's moot because both the art and writing in Superkiller are inferior to Eric's output.

As for Dax, his entire motivation seems to be that he hates parallel economies, possibly because of his experience with the failure of NewProject2, possibly because he's a bitter old man and hates to see other people find success where he never could because he doesn't have a single original idea in his head.

Or maybe it's because he's buddies with Ethan Van Sciver who hates Eric July because his ability to deliver the books he promised on time exposes the ComicsGate gang for the rug-pulling grifters they really are.

Thank you, that's mostly what I was curious about.
I must admit, I don't understand this setup. Why go into comics if you can't draw? Why does the artist put up with the "idea guy" instead of coming up with their own ideas?
Its not like Eric July or Vito are literary geniuses, writing is easily my least favorite part of Isom, and Superkiller's writing quality doesn't deserve a mention.

I can't speak for mainstream comics, but in indie circles it's pretty common. You'll have a writer who has an idea but can't draw so he hires someone to bring his vision to life. For the artist it can be a lot of reasons: maybe they're friends with the writer and splitting the profits, maybe they're technically skilled but not particularly creative, or maybe they're simply a contractor just happy to have a paycheck.

Given the colossal amount of work it can be for an amateur to bring a project from concept to print, it's pretty rare you find someone who's both capable and willing to do everything by themselves.

some people cant draw, but want to write a comic book. Some people want to draw a comic book, but cant write. Sometimes you just gotta hire people who can do what you cant in order to bring your ideas to life.

Real? Comedy? IDK. But don't worry guys:

It's a shame the timing is off, this would have been the perfect cover to get out of his obligations. "Sorry guys, the hard drive with all the Superkiller pages was destroyed in the fire! It was 99% finished too..."
Real comedy would be news that he burned to death after getting trapped under his funko pop/loli figure collection.
Better yet, he is entombed inside the molten plastic as his figurines melt around him and fuse to his skin.

Maybe the Funko Fiddler can be his self-insert in the next comic project he doesn't fulfil.
Doesn't fulfill? You don't understand, he's working a hellish schedule of 5 minutes a month to get his masterpiece into the hands of fans. Sounds like you're just mad that he can pay an artist to draw a table from memory while you have to trace one.
