Because of course, seeing a monkey and thinking it's tied to black people means the devs are the racist ones
There's a reason people say SJW's have more unintentional racist tendencies compared to the people they yammer about being worse than them. Remember, if your first thought of seeing a monkey and thinking it means "black people", then maybe you should start evaluating what you assume, no? But no one will question them about that anyway and just nod to their assumptions.
If the CookieRun fans have always been like this, you might ask yourself "if they believe the devs are racist, homophobic, transphobic, etc etc, why do they keep playing the game and posting about it?".
I'd like to call this "Genshin Impact Syndrome", an addictive syndrome where you'll still give your money to a company/franchise despite calling it worse than Hitler itself because of your obsession with both the game and wanting to get mad at everything "racist" or "-ist/-phobic" like a spoiled, first world problems nutcase. It's very common and I'd like to think Cookie Run and Genshin Impact are the most prominent contenders to this.
