Fucking sigh. Get a new map, Valve.
It's frustrating how long it took for Arms Race to be added back, and even then it's only 2 of the original maps. I honestly miss the old demolition game mode from when CS:GO launched. The maps were essentially faster paced bomb defusal maps with only a single bombsite. de_bank spawned the terrorists right next to the bombsite, which created some really fast paced games if Ts decided to plant. It was a fun twist on the usual defusal map design.

This is exactly what upsets me the most. I used to play mostly the side gamemodes as they were more casual and fun instead of being stressful and aimed at sweaty tryhards, and now after the CSGO-to-CS2 switch all that is left is the stupid competitive gamemode, infested by tryhards and cheaters, not to mention 90% of the updates being aimed exactly at that part of the game, instead of restoring the lost gameplay content.

Looks like they updated Vertigo, added some changes to the incendiary grenade (?), and changed the economy slightly, plus some other stuff I don't care much about.

Curious how new Vertigo will play though that's a really big change.

E: A's noticeably more CT-sided now. Or, Ts going scaffolding now don't have it so easy in into the bomb site. Don't know how I feel about that but I'm sure people are complaining about it already.

I primarily play wingman and when they made this change, they swapped wingman sites to A, and I gotta say I like the changes. Being able to hit scaffold from like 3 different places now is a god send. Creating a catwalk from that window area that connects to the front of headshot is a great change too imo. I still liked B side wingman better though.

Well it was just maps. Really pretty maps, I might add.

No idea how people thought this was gonna be a whole operation when all the leaks only showed maps were gonna be added, but now people are so disappointed and for absolutely no reason just as we get some new content.

Edit: don't like the new mvp graphics they're way too distracting. What was wrong with the old, subtle ones?

Edit2: Gotta say Mills is easily my favorite map so far. Feels so nostalgic, like you could easily just back port it back to 1.6 and it'd fit in so perfectly.

Am I the only one that finds it more insulting than anything that they copy and pasted 5 new community maps into the game before adding back more of the remaining missing maps from CS:GO? Smh.

Also, CS2 really is going the way of TF2 isn't it? Not even CS:GO/CS2 (the multi-billion dollar baby) is safe from Valve's laziness.

Doubt it. A lot of it just looks like the community bitching as they always do. The game's clearly far more loved than TF2 (not to mention way more popular). They didn't just port the whole thing into source 2 if nobody wanted to work on it. Data leaks and teasers from the trailer show they are indeed cooking something up but it's slow going (for whatever reason, Deadlock maybe?).

I used to play CS:GO but got out of it before 2. However I saw some screenshots of custom stickerwork from CS2 getting posted on a server I'm in and they might just be enough to inspire me to come back. For one, before seeing these I didnt know they made it so you can custom place up to 5 stickers now.

An attempt to revive the classic CS with CS:GO has been made. Featuring 64 and 128 tick servers, skins, and custom modes.

However there's a problem. It needs you to own Discord account and join their server which include on video description to play it.

I don't get it. What's the appeal of this?

The original version of CS:GO was the worst. There was a reason people stuck with 1.6 or even Source for years before moving to CS:GO.

Another "no fun allowed" update has dropped for CS2.
This seems like it could have lead to an arms race in terms of hardware/software that gives a distinct advantage in input cleaning with SOCD, I think it's good they try to stop the snaptap fad, especially when I think you could achieve its functions through software. I don't play enough to know how bad the nade bind removal is

New Update. Mostly cosmetic stuff. Most of the keychains look like ass, but I really want the AK one

Also seems like there were some networking changes so hopefully that fixes some of the rubber banding I keep experiencing every now and then.

1 year after launch, 25th anniversary: Still filled with cheaters and missing most of CS:GO's content.

What a shit fucking game, I could give less of a fuck about new skins or these autistic-ass charms. "Come out little pay-piggies and eat your microtransaction slop!"

What a sad sack of shit CS2 is, anybody spending money on this as it stands are consumerist mongoloids that can kill themselves. I'm so over this garbage.

Just confirmed it. I tried it for 3 hours of competitive runs recently and cheaters are still around like crazy, so are the bots in casual matches. Never change, Valve.

But hey cheaters do help Valve to develop a better game, right Phillip?
