I think we should show up with. Tens of millions of dollars of food. Fuel and supplies. But it's only for capitalists, for people who come in and announce they love capitalism. In front of a live stream.
We can have boss man Jack hosts the entire thing.

I am from there, ever since I left, I have gone back to visit my grandparents at least once a year with some exceptions like during the pandemic. I have seen the degradation every time I've gone, it gets worse and worse. But the thing that most impacted my parents when they have gone, is seeing old people rummaging through trash to find something to eat. It is really depressing, seeing the town you grew up in, in that state. We even saw a young man looking through trash, my dad felt bad for him so he gave him some money, when I asked him how much he gave him, he said $100 CUP, I laughed at his face, in our time, that was worth about $4 USD, then it was worth about 1/3 now it is less than 1/4 USD

Also, it's just called "Granma," and people call it "El Granma," and they better not stop printing it otherwise people will run out of toilet paper (I'm not kidding about that btw)
Ouch 🤕

Yeah I forgot the exact way they'd refer to the newspaper (was distracted by our stupid hot guide, who was sadly/not sadly was an American woman who really liked Cuba)

I did enjoy the national beer, BUCANERO FUERTE (with awesome pirate mascot) and of course, TuKola 😎

I did read an issue of Granma and it was the most blatant propaganda bullshit I've ever seen and I remember finding it odd that it was weeks out of date in relation to current global events. I guess they have to carefully sanitize the news (even though everyone has access to flash drives of US mass media 1-4 weeks after it's aired in the USA)

Oh and as of now Cuba is in ANOTHER national blackout

Cuba's electrical grid collapses for a second time in a week.️ Cuba’s Ministry of Energy says "a total disconnection of the National Electric System has occurred," resulting in another nationwide blackout.
So just to make a summary of today

Hasan and a bunch of leftist militia wannabes are now in Cuba, not in the countryside, but the fanciest hotel in the country.
The streaming has been a disaster due to power rationing, poor reception, and Hasan resorting to starlink just to connect, while admitting AT&T dropped him.
Hasan admitted the Cubans reached out to him, presumably others, so this entire convoy is really just an attempt at propaganda by the Cuban regime.
Then as if God himself decided to take a divine piss on the fag convention, the entire electrical grid collapsed (for the second time this year), plunging the entire island into darkness.
And the Cuban government rolled out a generator just for the YouTubers staying at the hotel, which I’m sure is just great optics for the civilians.

Yeah, I try to read it every time I go and laugh at how they twist stuff.

But there's no need anymore for the flash drives, the government like 5-10 years back gave people access to the internet and they use VPNs to get around the censorship. They still use flash drives for things that weigh a lot like movies and TV shows but that's about it.

I might be wrong, but I don't think they produce that one anymore, or if they do, I think it has dropped in quality. Don't remember the last time I saw a can of those. But yes, back when I lived there, there was that one, CRISTAL (green can with a palm tree) and MAYABE (blue can). I think they have a new one now I don't ever remember the name of.

Are you watching a stream of it? I'm laughing at myself imagining a bunch of leftist losers in some """fancy""" hotel in Havana trying to stream next to a loud generator.

🤣 Hasan having to resort to giving Elon Musk money in order to continue his shitty stream.

Adding even more irony to it, is that what might restore power for a bit is Putin's RUSSIAN tanker coming to the island.
How do these people reconcile with the fact that the Cuban regime is an ally of Russia? That you can turn on the TV (whenever there's power) and tune to Russia Today.

they don't lol most leftists are total retards

I saw the theory about Hasan using Starklink and investigated the Starlink map fansite myself during his final Havana livestream. I did not see any relation between Hasan's streaming hiccups and the map's Starlink positional connections to Havana, so I assume the theory is false and that Hasan really was struggling with Cuba's shitty internet. Unfortunately, there's no way to prove the matter one way or the other now.

On a related note, I made a couple of long posts in Hasan's dedicated lolcow thread detailing his part Nuestra América Convoy, including plenty of highlight clips. Ultimately, he only streamed for four hours in a drab room for the entire trip and has barely posted anything on social media, despite previously saying that he was going to show Americans "regular experiences of regular Cuban folks". He says that he did interviews with commie British politician Jeremy Corbyn, a Cuban jaw surgeon, and the Cuban foreign vice minister, but we have yet to see if videos will manifest once he's back at his LA mansion on Monday. Though I previously concluded that the whole event has really been about collaborating directly with the Cuban regime to safeguard it and train radical activists, I suspect Hasan himself did not have much involvement in that (unlike David Adler and Jeremy Corbyn) besides the arranged interviews and was more interested in spending his time in Havana "livin' la vida loca", as he said on stream.

Initial reports of two large explosions and subsequent fires in Havana, the capital of Cuba. There are additional reports of helicopters active over Havana, though information (or the lack thereof) emerging from Cuba overall is not enough to confirm or deny such claims.
Multiple reports of alarms being triggered early this morning in some areas of Havana, presence of black berets preventing neighbors from staying in the doorways, and sounds of helicopters.

Additional scenes from Havana, the capital of Cuba. Two (possibly three) large fires can be seen in the distance; following reports of explosions. Some locals are reporting that the fires and sounds of helicopters above Havana are due to military drills by the Cuban military.

Internet traffic in Cuba has dropped by nearly 90%. It's very difficult to communicate with people on the island for now.

FYI, this Mag Jorge Castro guy seems like a handy source for critical news on Cuba, including lots of photos and video clips that I haven't seen elsewhere:

Let's see if commies like Hanoi Jane and Sean Penn will be able to handle a truth which I doubt.

Trump adding another fine specimen to his collection?

>Kneecap are there

God, I fucking hate those faggots so much. As an Irish person, let it be known that these guys represent the gayest, most sanitised form of Irish nationalism. I see more footage of them waving Palestinian flags and wearing keffiyehs than I see of them actually talking about Ireland. As insufferable as faggots like Piker.

Is Operation Absolute Resolve II underway? Or is it just communist incompetence.

Commie incompetence. I'd be posting far more updates in the thread if we were bombing them or kidnapping the Cuban president Maduro-style.
Yeah sadly we haven't had the build-up nor the shaping necessary to give Cuba the buttfucking it so richly deserves.

This is probably the Cuban military deploying to attack people for ...let's see... "having a loaf of bread".

Comrade, if someone has a loaf of bread, then it is unequal distribution! Can't you spare a thought for all the people who don't have bread? Its only fair then to take the bread from those who have it so that everyone is equal and has no bread.
