I just want to remark how generally satisfying it is that (allegedly?) a tranny team of people worked on a game with trannies in it and the trannies hate it so much they declare them the literal devils. It doesn't get more hilarious.

What a way to end the wait for this fucking game with it turning out to be the quintessential embodiment of the year 2020: a chaotic letdown and total fiasco.

Mixed messages abound; some saying it's mediocre and bug-riddled with others saying it has really good bits but the overall experience leaves them confused and awkwardly trying to parse out just what the fuck happened after all this time while everyone still holds out hope that it could get better by launch, all with a perplexed look on their faces. L O fucking L.

I guess I shouldn't be surprised by current year or the state of the gaming industry but God damn if this isn't hilarious. I can't wait for the worldwide response once the thing drops in 48 hours or so. And to think I was so excited to play this piece of shit once, lmao. 🍿🍿🍿🍿🍿🍿🍿🍿🍿

The least I can hope for now is that the game world is interesting enough to walk around in without too many bugs to ruin the experience. May as well expect a decent walking simulator instead of the RPG I was promised so I guess I won't be disappointed.

This shit is too funny.

I've always played Yakuza games for the fighting and shit, slowing down said fighting seems like a step down to me.

The actual game plot is much better though, but the minigames are kinda shit, and the taxi system is fucked (you have to actually ride the taxi for it to register as a fast travel point).

Also the skew to weapons in a fisting game is always a disappointing event when so little games give any proper fistings anymore.

My biggest problem though is
how are you going to make future yakuza games when yakuza don't exist anymore after the game?

you just click on the taxi, dont have to ride anywhere.

also yakuza like a dragon is my goty. its fun. and the best part is i dont need a relationship chart of yakuza families and an wiki to get the story spanning 6 games
