Cyberpunk 2077 Grieving Thread

The rightoids centrists of the Farms seething as one or two reviews from the SJW gaming bastions place actual critical analysis over a shallow game's shitty take on a black man's creation in a genre critical of capitalism and conservative societal norms--ya love to see it.
I find it incredibly amusing how you literally tie yourself into a pretzel to make that argument. First, you call reviews bought with bribery "critical analysis". Then, you reach into your grab bag of childish invective and dismiss the game as a "shallow, shitty take" without ever having played it to confirm whether or not it is indeed shallow. Finally, you concede that the lore was written by a black guy, in a genre that generally caters to your politics and worldview. You vacillate and dissemble so much, you're practically playing naked Twister.

you just click on the taxi, dont have to ride anywhere.

also yakuza like a dragon is my goty. its fun. and the best part is i dont need a relationship chart of yakuza families and an wiki to get the story spanning 6 games
Which is my problem, I don't really like needless cutscene transitions just to unlock one shit.
The post-fight cutscene shit in LAD are somehow worse than other Yakuza games, it's pretty annoying.

Speaking of the pirate side of things.

Sketch "Downloader" from CODEX uploaded by someone
Oh it is most definitely sketch. Look at his uploads. Just a bunch a games and software, some of which is labeled as a crack from CPY or Empress , all of it is 8 megabytes.

I accidentally downloaded something similar a couple years ago because I'm a retard and didn't look at the filesize before. It's ransomware that bricks your hard drive if you turn your PC off, but requires actually clicking the lone, shady .exe to actually work.

This happens frequently. Some of them have an obscene amount of seeders, probably from a botnet.

Do be careful and inspect your torrents carefully my dudes.

Using dead people to hype games is so weird. Weirder still is it keeps happening.

I get games can be art, people can be attached to them, etc, but I can't imagine someone past their teenage years being so hyped as to have anything so far removed from them define their death. One thing to be excited, another for this level of hype...
Anytime I see one of those "My friend was excited for x but they died RIP" posts I just assume that it's fake.

But there was this old guy on the CP2077 subreddit recently posting about how he and his 30 year old son were really excited to play Cyberpunk, they were talking about the different lifepaths etc. but then one day the son had an aneurysm out of the blue and died. It kicked off this whole #PlayForJohnny thing, the guy's posts had thousands of upvotes, it just seemed super weird to me. Like it sucked that his son died but I don't get the whole fanfare over it. Reddit is weird.

Has anyone read the EULA? Like actually read it?

My favorite part is
Can't help but notice that they didn't list transphobic:thinking:

I'm not opposed to having the trans flag as a customization option(not that it'd placate the tranny rage) but not being able to remove it seems kind of dumb. Like I'm not reeing over it but I'm definitely rolling my eyes.

Also having any of the pride flags as a decal seems kind of tacky, especially in a cyberpunk setting. But maybe I'm just a TERF.

Sorry if this has already been asked, but I got here from the sticky and looked through the highlights, but how close were these videos taken to the release date? That car physics video is magical it would make Todd Howard blush, but if this is the current state it's going to be dumpster fire of rarely seen proportions,

Not even a week ago. This is supposed to be the review copy.

I dont mind if its an option i just hope there isnt more stuff done like that unremovable tranny decal. Like if you could switch back and forth between genders at the doctor that would make sense with the setting and i wouldnt really care so much since i could just not bother with it.

Seriously though im not expecting the tranny shit to be enough to ruin the game unless they really force it in situations where it isnt relevant. im just hoping it isn't unplayably buggy on launch

The unremovable car decal sounds like a gay op more than anything else. I'd bet it's just some troon trolling.

91 metascore is in fact a disaster for one of the most hyped and marketed games ever. It means there are 300 games better than it. And even the good reviews say it's a glitchy unpolished boring shit yet they still slap 10/10 at the end because they are afraid CDPR shills and fanboys would be on their ass if they didn't.

User scores will tell us the truth after they stabilize after initial influx of 0s and 10s.

No way this game deserves a 9 or 10 based on shit we saw in the leaks.

From what i read it delivers on its hype despite not being revolutionary game and with some quite interesting features cut but its buggy as bethesda game, so basically GTA combined with Witcher 3 with Skyrim level bugs.

Most likely its just default decal there explained as character who gives you that truck wanting to stick it rednecks who harrassed him by having truck decked like that beat them. just normal petty shit. If it isnt well there are mods for that.

I mean, it's realistic. If tranny fuckheads still exist in a world where they can /literally be made the opposite gender with science and hard facts/, they'd still want to stand out and capitalize on outrage by going "im actually trans". They don't want to be the opposite gender; they want to look the part but cash in on the "personality" of not just being cis.

The mere hint of opposition to their neon lights game gets the rightoids centrists and their echo chamber of the Farms up in a dander. I can’t imagine being this mad 😂😂😂

Did you say “bought reviews”? Oh nooo, the feminazis and SJWs of the esteemed gaming media outlets Kotaku and Polygon are trading CDPR trussy and bussy for review codes, whatever can us based gamers do? Who do we trust? 😭😭😭

The only thing about Cyberpunk that’s given me joy is the wave of seething chuds who will cry about rigged votes when TLoUII wins GOTY.
