I remember back when that Eurogamer article came out that pestered the devs about how transsexuality is such a fundamental part of Cyberpunk. Back then I went to Wikipedia to the Cyberpunk genre article that's many pages long, Ctrl+F'd "trans", not a single hit. They just completely made that up out of nowhere and got CDPR to accept it to the point where CDPR pretends that nobody has a gender assigned at birth. Hey, even if you want to replace your genitalia, you're still born a certain sex, and that kinda matters for your character. Now we're at a point where we want "character development" but at the same time make no distinction between someone born with a vagina and someone who cut off his penis and got a hole as a replacement? That doesn't affect the character lore at all? Okay then.
Similarly, but entirely different topic, it would be cool if games that offer you to choose your sex also assigned certain hard basic traits to your character. Remember when in RPGs you choose soldier or wizard, you get different traits, different amounts of muscle, intellect, etc? It should be the same with choosing character sex. A female should start out with less physical strength, but maybe more verbal/persuasion skills etc. Would also make it more interesting to replay.
