Fundamentally, I think the first and greatest flaw CDPR made was revealing the game too early, and then over-promising in the initial previews.
The fact that they promised a release date of "when it's ready" was also a negative point, as it didn't enforce an actual deadline to get the mechanics nailed down- hence the 8 year dev time and effusive promises that were made- all until they ran into the wall and needed to get the game out the door.

This really is the Fallout 76 of 2020. Nice gift to cap off the year of the clown.View attachment 1796937 View attachment 1796942
I thought this had to be a shitpost but they also included a website where the $99 card is sold and it's actually on the fucking box. I genuinely don't understand how it's possible to fuck up this bad.
I posted the glassdoor reviews before as some of them has clued-in over what has happened over there, the upper management has been going tit crazy changing the whole project with no form of communication with the development group.
Does the map just look like that or is the map in cp2077 generally very small compared to something like gta 5?There is a comical amount of cut content in this game. Its like what was released is half of what they worked on.
Here is an early map version

Post of pic of the RTX with a piece of paper that has your forum name and date on it.
circles of hell look like that weirdo mod for Serious Sam that erases itself once it finishes. but this is close. Is this what one of the circles of hell looks like?
Yep, not playing this one until this shit gets modded outLICK THE LADYCOCK GAMING CHUDS
Star Citizen and Yandere Simulator, oh, hold up, those haven't been released yet, and never will.Another entry into the hall of super failures. SimCity 4, Spores, Diakatana and now Cyberpunk. What other games had this disastrous of releases?
They got what they're asking for.Assuming this is, in fact, a disgruntled employee with immaculate English whom just happens to write like a copypasta, I have to ask: wtf? This game was delayed more than thrice to accommodate the team and ensure that they polish (no pun intended) that game. If Management is as autistic as the person claims they were (which isn't even verifiable since it's so-called "second-hand experience") then I find it hysterical their CP77 team went "in revolt" only after the game's been released. You want my two cents? Management welcomed innovative ideas that had some practical application. The CP77 team, chimeric as it was, failed to come up any "practical" parts for the more ambitious endeavors and so resorted to making the game more orthodox. At the same time their supervisors grew weary of delaying that game anymore and started crunching on whatever was being salvaged from this abortion. Nobody won. It's easy to find scapegoats when everyone is to blame for what became of Cyberpunk 2077. Much harder to admit that you just fucked up.
SimCity 4 was a super failure? I thought that game was really good.Another entry into the hall of super failures. SimCity 4, Spores, Diakatana and now Cyberpunk. What other games had this disastrous of releases?
It's launch was a huge disaster.SimCity 4 was a super failure? I thought that game was really good.
Well, various bugs, optimization and such would be obvious fixes for a start. Then maybe some of the content that was cut that wouldn't be too difficult to add back in could be patched in as well. The gain would be obvious, since they need people to buy the DLC they want to sell(and the multiplayer mode will likely be DLC, now that I think about it)CDPR does have motivation to fix what's broken, add back in some of what was cut, and generally make the game better than it was at launch. I don't know if the PS4 and XB1 versions of this game will ever be fully fixed or not, though and I do agree with whoever it was that said releasing the game on those two consoles was a mistake.what's there to heal tho? to what gain?
It was, but I don't know if it's a 'failure' like Daikatana or Spore. Reason I say that is because lots of communities regard it as essential. It's launch was a huge disaster.
Late, but the game is gorgeous, the attention to detail in the overworld is phenomenal, and the characters are really great, but the plot is driven by everyone being idiots, constant unnecessary, and inconsistent railroading, gameplay that sacrifices fun for "realism" and "immersion", the honor system is a complete mess, and the game in-general suffers from an incredibly noticeable problem of obsessing over incredibly small, trivial details while ignoring huge, gaping, nearly plot breaking ones.I assume that RDR2 is pretty good, no? Haven't played it yet.
I'm a tard. I meant 5.SimCity 4 was a super failure? I thought that game was really good.
That I can agree with. Though tbh I don’t remember people being hyped about that game anyway. There was a ton of melancholy when it was revealed to be online only with a small size map.I'm a tard. I meant 5.
World felt empty tbh..Late, but the game is gorgeous, the attention to detail in the overworld is phenomenal, and the characters are really great, but the plot is driven by everyone being idiots, constant unnecessary, and inconsistent railroading, gameplay that sacrifices fun for "realism" and "immersion", the honor system is a complete mess, and the game in-general suffers from a distinct lack of obsessing over incredibly small, trivial details while ignoring huge, gaping, nearly plot breaking ones.
I like it a lot, but it definitely has a lot of glaring flaws.
It did, to be honest.World felt empty tbh..
One thing I adored was the cinematic camera mode because you could just turn it on while riding your horse and relax or go to the bathroom or grab a snack.
The police were relentless though
Oh god, I hate that bug. So fucking annoying.lol I can't believe that this is the same game that people hyped up for years...
I had a similar bug at the beginning of the game when I left the appartment. I hit the button to activate the elevator but instead it pulled my pistol and started firing full-auto in the lobby. Then a bunch of cops spawned behind my back (that was facing a wall).
Fucking dumb faggot. Get that universal audience huh? Good job you stupid fuck, the audience doesn't exist, and the audience you were chasing fucking hates you. Glad you hired a bunch of meme plagiarizers that can't even fucking model on the level Skyrim did 10+ years ago. You're so shit you just got your game removed from the PS store and MS to get refunds, which is almost unheard of.This image will never stop being relevant.

Was it worth it, Marcin?

Tell everyone with a straight face, especially the investors crawling up your ass at this very moment, "yes, it was worth it".
This is just spectacular to me. Skyrim has lived so long because it is so ridiculously moddable. Same with New Vegas. The idea that they fucked this so bad to make it not even moddable is insane. Its why they could sell Skyrim for so long on literally everything. To not have the number one factor to have it be a Bethesda-type game is idiotic. That's what everyone was thinking. And if it can't...oh my god. CD Projekt is going to be fucked. They burned their rep for this shit. This games biggest problem is it has close to zero replayability. People still buy Skyrim and New Vegas today because you can replay those games hundreds of times. No one will replay Cyberpunk which means all they really have is the initial sales. No one's going to be buying this in five years.
