Biggest complaint I have besides all the cut content and the glitches is how OP it is just dumping everything into INT. If your bad guy hideout has cameras, watch out. All I have to do is hack one and I can just jump from one to another killing you with my constantly recharging super magic spells, and I'm playing on top difficulty. I hate games where I have to actively handicap myself by not using a certain playstyle so that the game isn't too easy.
Get the legendary version of the Ping hack. It allows you to hack people through walls simply by virtue of having it equipped. Find one guy or piece of equipment that lets you ping it and everything is ready to be hacked.

cyberpunk 2077 but it's a newgrounds flash game from 2007

Ridiculous. I admit when I first used "suicide" on someone and watched them stand up and blow their brains out, I was amused. Then I realized how stale and shallow the netrunner gameplay style is in regards to how OP it is. I can think of a million ways to make it better.

  • Change "control camera/turret" to a breach protocol daemon instead of quickhack so you at least have to work for it.
  • Maybe add success percentages for certain powerful hacks with your INT stat obviously being what increases your success
  • Difficulty classes for local networks
  • Consequences for failing breach protocol such as if you don't upload 2/3 or 3/4 or whatever then your intrusion is a success but everyone is alerted
  • More potent enemy netrunners with some sort of counter-minigame where they work against your own intrusion. Maybe a fallout style command line game vs enemy netrunner where whoever gets it first is the successful one
  • And related, the ability to counter enemy netrunners while they're hacking you without having to kill them
I mean I'm sure like 90% of the people who were interested in this game beyond the normie appeal wanted to play a badass netrunner a la Ghost in the Shell style. As it stands now you're just a glorified wizard pointing and clicking, which might have been the intent in order to match it up with the tabletop rules. I admit I have no idea about the tabletop game.

Your forgetting another important thing, using Quickhacks makes you go into combat, sounds alarms yadda yadda yadda. Honestly this is why quickhacks are so powerful compared to other things. Its really weird they can find you so fast when you take control of a turret but all of them getting poisoned and caught on fire...meh.

Stealth in this game is garbage, their field of vision is not at all what is on the map. Once combat begins, its on and you can only turn it off by running a distance away. So if you get busted, there's no point in ducking and hiding, its either reload your save or fucking murders.

This would be fine if it weren't for the fact that, approximately 25% of the time, the quickhack menu simply refuses to load in a combat scenario for unexplained reasons.
The quickhack netrunner stealth build basically consists of maxing out int, hiding behind boxes, and reloading quicksaves whenever the game forgot to enable quickhacks.

Judy is romancible by male v, the only thing stopping it is a line of commented out code

Biggest evidence that it was cut for muh politics is that there's male v romance lines for judy that aren't used

I just finished a route specifically to do the Judy romance after Panam and this is, for all intents and purposes, identical to the lesbian version. Absolutely zero reason to cut this out beyond wanting empty praise from game journalists. They didn't even rewrite lines during the critical scenes outside of pronoun swapping.

Romances during video games are always shallow pandering to shut-ins, but they couldn't even do that right.

So some person made a video that puts TLOU2 as a better game than CP2077, along with the usual current-day buzzwords such as bringing up Gamergate again:

I actually like this guys Metal Gear video essays, but I turned this off five minutes in when he began talking about how 'right wing' CDPR's ads for CP2K77 were. Not all of his videos are winners I guess.

Never played TLOU2, but I'm assuming it runs fine on the PS4, Abby buttsex and invincible Torah's aside.

I have notice that someone have put Cyberpunk on the list of shitty games on wikipedia.
While I do still stand with my review and don't think that the PC version was an objectively terrible game on its own (when it worked), the negative reception and most of the shit it got was well deserved in the end due to the management's incompetence making the release one hell of a premature birth. As things stand now at the time of me writing this, even without the people who were butthurt because they bought into the hype, Cyberpunk 2077 in its current form deserves its entry in this particular Hall of Shame.

I would even go as far and agree with Gggmanlives (or some other vidya SpergTuber) and say that the feedback would have been even worse had the game been released by any other dev than CD Project Red, especially by Bethesda.

In some cases it's a festering tumour to the rest of the game. For all its faults and shallowness, I have to give the romance part of Cyberpunk 2077 credit where credit is due for not hijacking a great part of the game or being as obnoxious as Persona.

That page is complete shit. It's clearly supposed to be for games that are complete disasters and objectively 2-3/10s, like ET, Superman 64, Big Rigs, or Sonic '06, but instead it's a bunch of games that are pretty mediocre but have gotten a huge hatedom online, and should thus include shit like Diablo 3, the Warcraft 3 remaster, or TLoU 2, and TLoU 2 is specifically prevented from being on the page because of one sentence in the header about review bombing. In fact, half the games on that page seem to be on it because of an AVGN video, and he states on his site that he often blows mediocre games out of proportion to make a funny video.
