Seeing Danny boy's tweets in which he bitches over a game, here's some things I may as well point out:
Him thinking gamers see strip clubs as labyrinths is laughable. You'd have to be as daft as Chris is to things like sex. The whole "kill dressed as a chipmunk" thing can be justified for this simple reason: if one were to find a good vantage point or get past guards, you'd want to make it look like you'd be blending in. As for latex tit ninjas, the game was inspired by Grindhouse-style films. As for killing sex workers in a game, these people need to get off the high horses because these games they bitch about are the sort of games where you aren't playing as some paragon of holiness. Hitman has you play a modern day assassin and a game like GTA would let you indulge in being a rampaging maniac. Even then, killing strippers in Hitman is a big no if you were aiming for the highest rank (unless you had some mission that had a stripper as a target). And as far as realism goes, the game wants you to be realistic in how would an assassin try to kill a guy if you had to do it silently and like a ninja.
Olson's being nothing more than a jackass whose trying to sound contrarian as he analyzes media that is really meant to be nothing more than a fun time killer in the form an electronic toy.
Gamers are spergs, no doubt about it but people like Dan and his asspatters take the group too seriously. They can argue the game makes you sexist because you kill women but that shit doesn't really hold water when considering other factors like "Is the sexism in the game actually coming from a guy who you must kill (i.e. the strip club owner whose literally a monster to his strippers)".
The only thing that isn't wrong are being salty and idiotic over video games.
If they were to focus on other Hitman titles, one could point out that 47 doesn't really have to kill a stripper. He even saves a
sex worker albeit for pragmatic reasons.
