I know this is a total pipe-dream and Mike Cum doesn't seem like the guy to do it, but since DSP mentioned how this documentary is short and can't go into depth and follow rabbit holes: DSP really deserves a "Tiger King" miniseries, that has time to follow whatever rabbit hole. Find an ex-classmate and interview them about his weird Valedictorian speech, find the hot Latina co-worker and ask her about DSPs autistic attempts at flirting, follow DSP around doing everything and ask him questions like "Why do you disinfect your hands after a minor scratch?" and then let him rant for 10 minutes -> total insanity.

Just fun to imagine.

I think it's important to remember that Phil is a pathological liar and a moron.

DSP talking about how Mike Clum would be liable or that he has final cut is very likely him reassuring himself. Even his handful of remaining supporters see the obvious disaster ahead, but DSP can never be wrong, so doing this documentary must be a good idea. He's going to convince himself and anyone listening that he has all the power in this situation, when it's far more likely he has little to none.

I'm still skeptical about this documentary, because giving a lying narcissist the ability to react to what other people say about him (not even in person, which might have been interesting) is useless. Phil does everything right; everyone else screws him over. We've heard it over and over. It's practically the slogan of his channel.

I just don't think the failure of this documentary will be because Clum gave too much control to Phil. That would be a DSP level mistake.
If DSP has final cut then he is the one producing the documentary not Mike Clum. Clum would also be putting his reputation and whatever future career he expects to have doing these at risk. Manufactured puff pieces don't get many views.

Id like to think about a nothing burger thread about a guy pimping his ''documentary'' like Heather from Blair Witch getting 20 pages as to what it must have been like for Nancy's email inbox during the bankruptcy hearings.

whats dsps logic for the whole, if Mike Clum puts out a vid that makes me look bad he'd be liable?

So Phil could rob a bank and spend it all on WWE champions on film and Mike Clum is liable for it?
Phil could sue if he had the money and time, but he's a small time guy focused on providing positive meaningful content. 15 years, changed, blahblah

I imagine what DSP believes to be a "final cut" is very different to what a final cut actually is. Most likely Mike mentioned something about showing him the final edit, and Phil takes this to mean he'll be able to pull a Hogan (and not the jpeg type) and state it doesn't work for him brother.

Imagine Phil gives his ok, Mike records it and also gets Phil autograph to make things fix and when it comes out Phil will claim "It's all wrong that wasn't the edit blablabla" and Mike pulls out Phil's signature and claims "This is slander and I will sue your ass now!"

Once I heard the term "creative control" being thrown around, I think Phil's mind did genuinely go straight to 'rasslin.
You know who else had creative control in their contract? Bret Hart. Remember what happened there, Phil?
Maybe we'll get lucky and Mike will give us the Montreal Renton Screwjob.

That was "reasonable creative control." Who had actual "creative control" full stop? :hulk: you know it, brother.

The more time goes on since the announcement the more confused I am as to what this is going to show. I'll admit I was being dramatic saying showing him in a good light is career suicide but I mean really... Take the other day where this mental patient went on a rant about how he never asked people to click on ads and immediately any schmuck detractor can pull up the video ON HIS OWN CHANNEL where he literally asks people to click on the ads..

Thats just a small thing in this past 6 month downward spiral of insanity that hit 88 mphs day 1, the ego from getting this Chernobly style authentic netflix style doucmentary has exploded his ego and put the insanity saga into hyperdrive.

How do you not make this about what a train wreck he is or paint him as a victim of the failures of the american mental health system like "God Knows Where I Am".

Unless mike it trying to get a job for china state media, there's 15 years of evidence he's a piece of shit from forum posts, irc logs, videos of him at tournaments, videos on his own channel new like admitting he said racist things purposely and old, detractor stuff. So to paint DSP in a good light is some weird shit when anyone can just go on the internet and be "thats great and all but what about all of this."

I have a feeling the theorizing about what this is will be more interesting than actually what it becomes if anything at all, unless the Keem connection is true. Either way the inevitable ego crash will be one for Pigstory.

I have a feeling it's Mike gaslighting the gaslighter, telling phil what he wants to hear. Phil being an egomaniac and well, a literal idiot, either doesn't know what mike is talking about and/or his ego got in the way as I'm sure mike talked him in a way that made phil agree to anything.

This is the same guy who didn't know you should get oil changes cause the dealer never told him, who has gotten racked over the coals by credit card companies, car dealers and mobile game publishers.

Dude sits there and has convinced himself a blanket email blast to content creators who fit a demographic are personalized sponorship opportunities probably because the form letter is personalized and kisses his ass at first...mother fucker argues with customer service bots. I can see it being very easy to play him like a fiddle.

DSP is bad at video games and I would NOT donate to his Paypal OR watch a professional documentary by Mike Clum about him, mostly because DSP is a real life literal Decepticon in that he will lie until you tire of telling him he's lying and just accept what he's saying.

In fact, Atlus the Bookkeeper and xMortis clear this chicanery. I am going to go watch their videos and masturbate instead of watching the Mike Clum documentary about him.

@mikeclum Please bring as many black people and an Asian person who speaks with a thick accent along as part of your film/sound/etc. crew when you do the in-person interview/filming.

I ask this for no particular reason, because Phil certainly isn't a racist and absolutely nothing will happen.
I'm sure Phil won't do his 'Ching Chong Chinese' voice or act nervous that the black people are going to steal or break his property.

I hope you've got some decent lawyers, @mikeclum, because if DSP decides something in the documentary is harmful or not true, YOU'RE LIABLE. He wants you to know that.

What's he going to do? Complain about not having enough money to sue Mike for slander? At this point I hope the documentary is either a Snort Burnell style clip show or something completely off the wall like Mike filming his dogs while asking them questions in a DSP voice.

The one thing I want out of this interview is for Phil to be filmed sitting down with a woman like Boogie sat down with about the job situation. I have to know if Phil will just get into a deranged ramble that is identical to any given prestream or sobstory about his past and how nothing is his fault.

I've tried messaging Clum three different ways and had zero interaction over the past 10 days. I was offering him the info on Kat's protection order that I found should he want to investigate further. Maybe he saw something shiny. Here's the info:

46th Circuit Court
Otsego County, MI
Katherine St. Jean vs Jeffrey Rudel
Case No. 17-16902-PP
Petition for Personal Protection
Order Granted: June 15, 2017
Order Expired: June 15, 2018
Clerk's Office: (989) 731-7500

Maybe one of you can order a copy and throw it at him. Be warned that a copy of your written copy request could be placed in the record. Call the court to get specific instructions.

Itsagundam is speaking with Mike Clum on his channel right now. This dude feels so shady. Gundam is asking questions and he's holding his tongue which makes sense since he wants people to be excited for the documentary but god is it annoying him to say these safe buzzwords. This Mike guy says he met DSP, went into his home, ate dinner with him, and DSP even drove him to dinner!

But I think this guy won't say ANYTHING negative about DSP because HE KNOWS that if DSP hears him say anything negative then the documentary is a bust and Gundam called him out on it instantly lol. This documentary will either be the best content we've seen that includes DSP or he will make it some kind of apologetic fucking video to have people see Phil in a "better light." I hope this documentary is a bait and switch on Phil and he gets roasted on a professional level.
