Seems to me that legal system is there to right wrongs, right? (in theory of course) Cutting that right off should be a measure of last resort.

Because unlike Europe where your rights are merely a suggestion, you have a constitutional right to petition the courts for "redress of grievances". See the First Amendment.
Having your rights taken away should be a massive thing.
That said, as Google pointed out, he has been declared one in his home state.

It's a really important right. The alternative is the tyrannical faggots in the government punishing you for what they deem damages. I'd rather be able to seek redress for my damages, and if someone tries to claim damages against me, be able to argue that they didn't occur.

Because the alternative -- denying someone access to the legal system because of a string of unsuccessful suits -- is much worse. Just because some asshole abuses the courts for nefarious ends doesn't mean they can't ever have a legitimate claim against someone who actually has wronged them in an actionable way. The process of denying someone access to the courts is deliberately slow and methodical, and the bar for sanctions is astronomically high, because it is a major curtailment of a fundamental right.
And it's a fundamental right because it's about all we have anymore to defend ourselves against assholes (biological and corporate). Not that it helps much, but it's better than nothing.
It's rather like how it seemingly "takes forever" to actually execute someone in the US after they've been sentenced to death. That process is slow by design (much to the (justified) annoyance of victims' families, etc.) because the criminal justice system has a rather extensive track record of getting it completely wrong, fingering the wrong person as the suspect and scoring a death sentence only to have them exonerated twenty years later by DNA testing or some other evidence emerging.
We err on the side of caution because the alternative is pretty god damn awful.

But what neither Court nor Google mention is that Vexatious Litigation such as Acertard is simply gameify'ing the legal system to force their victims to be assesed pain by needing to pay ruinous legal fees to protect themselves from the in forma pauperis pro se litigants abuse. And they have no counter for that. They have no mechanism to ever be made whole. This is where the charming right to petition for grievances no matter how destitute is in fact hurting people. And the courts should be ashamed for permitting it.

They do. The issue is that both clerks and judges are overworked (and or lazy) and in some states, it's easier to game the system like that. Remember, out of all lawsuits filed against Null, he only had to respond to two. That's pretty decent.
