I will take back my repeated insults of Zell if Acerthorn ends up going to jail over this. If that happens this goes from Zell being a retard who gave Acer the only win in his entire life to him paying a nominal fee to hand Acer the biggest L he's had since stabbing his father and possibly getting his menace neutralized. All he had to do was dangle a few grand over his head.

@Potentially Criminal
What's the appropriate legal sanction for FORGING A FUCKING SIGNATURE in a court filing?
The case will be over. This pretty much seals his fate as a vexatious litigant and will screw him over in future lawsuits he may try

If this wasn't a lolcow, and actually faced the prospect of criminal liability, there would be possible charges of:
-Forgery
-Perjury
-Mail Fraud
-Wire Fraud

Is any of that going to happen? Sadly, nope. Would it be great to see? Yep.

This is baffling. The PayPal receipts look normal so Stebbins got his money. He’s required to send a notice when the settlement is fulfilled so his filing looks like something he’d send to the court especially with his favorite phrases about how you can never fan the flames of the action back to life (except that looks wrong, this is notice of fulfillment of a settlement agreement, not a dismissal of an action). So it would seem normal you’d have both signatures on there. Stebbins lifting the signature sounds more like laziness than an attempt at fraud but that would assume he sent the document over to zellzander to confirm everything looks agreeable.

So here we are, in probable fraud land because Stebbins could t wait to send the final agreement to Zell and wait for a signature. Unbelievable.

Is the court really that jaded that it would ignore this criminally?

Well, indeed - he needed the signature by July 31 at the latest so he could hop in the escape pod before the sanctions hit.

I would never hold my breath about David facing any actual consequences besides Courts being big meanyfaces to him, but I'm not sure Road Runner himself would be able to meep meep away from forging signatures on a federal court document, if that is actually what happened here.

The competition is stiff in terms of what Stebbins saga is the most mind-numbingly stupid/hilarious, but this is getting close.

If this judge could issue an order for "both parties to go die in a fire" he would. He's got real cases to worry about
Luckily I
But David, you should. No one will miss you. Maybe you can make the change you want to see and do it in front of Alphabet's headquarters. It worked for that Palestine protestor right? Maybe we can get Dan Forden to show up and say his famous line!

Seeing lolcows go through the legal system is like watching someone pick a trait in Fallout. The perk is they get to do whatever they want with absolute impunity but the drawback is they become a laughing stock.

Maddox got away with impersonating a female journalist during the lolsuit but is forging a signature of the opposing party to end a case something that can be hand waived away? If Jarred wants charges pressed can they refuse to do it?
Actually when I responded to that, I didn't know he had actually forged the signature. If Zell (retard that he is) is telling the truth about that, he may actually be fucked. But remember, we're in Lawlcow Law territory and lolsuits between lolcows get loljudges.

There should be a tracker at his local walmart for large orders of store brand hot dogs, like they do with pizza places near the pentagon.

In between 2019 and 2022 grocery stores in the US started to roll out new tech that tracks the current stock at the store, and automatically orders when stock is low. I don't think it tracks order amounts.

In my 3.25 seconds of reading it appears that since the Order To Show Cause was issued before the dismissal it is very likely the sanctions are still in play if the court chooses to do so.
Generally speaking, invocation of Rule 11 before dismissal retains its power while invocation after is not permitted. Even after the dismissal, however, the court may retain power to sanction with its own inherent powers

Stabby has revised his "mutual" notice to not have Jones' signature.

Now, the question is, what will Jones do, does he have a document on the way saying he agrees, or does he have a document on the way saying "Fuck no."

He can split the difference. They agreed to settle. But he never saw or signed the "mutual document". Stabby is facing sanctions for misrepresentations before the court. And here he is trying to use another fraudulent misrepresentation to dodge those sanctions.

Something should be appearing from Jones in the coming day.

This is proceeding as expected, it will only get more retarded here on out and go all downhill.

I'm even more confused now. How was Zellzander was able to make a lump sum payment off when every other month he struggled to make payments on time.
And why would he want to pay $900 all at once? Why not just pay $100 on time like you both had a agreed.
Say what you want about the forgery (copy and pasting his signature) but it seems from the Exhibit A email that Zellzander knew about and agreed to settle the case like this.

Paragraph 3 in the email is crazy. It looks like Acerthorn was planning to terminate the settlement either way in order to avoid sanctions, then refile to get the rest of the money from Zell.

The problem is that there is absolutely no way to know if that was actually the defendant or if that email and paypal receipts are entirely fake until he actually weighs in either way.

According to the list of approved knowledge that I can disperse; a loan was taken out to satisfy the end of the settlement.
I've previously speculated that dealing with the mob would probably be preferable to dealing with Stabby.
