There's an observer's note that talks about how the entity wipes the memories of a trial from a survivor's head if they get killed or sacrificed so that they don't lose the fear of death. But I wonder how consistent it bothers to be to that end.

Say for example Dwight, Meg, Claudette and Jake enter a trial, they all believe it's their first trial. Only Dwight survives that specific trial and gets to keep the memory of having survived.

Next by the campfire spawn Jane, Adam and another Meg. Dwight would then know and be able to tell Meg about her previous death and both of them would lose a bit of their fear of death.

In order for this not to occur the entity would need to place Dwight in a special survivor queue where he is only in the trial with other survivors he hasn't witnessed die before.

And that's not even accounting for the possibility that a trial has 2 or more of the same survivor, that would REALLY tip them off.

Don't bother trying to figure out a interns writings about DbD & multiple survivors being the same.

Reminder that the first protag of DbD was Benedict Baker by being a detective that has written observations of the characters & killers up until to Kate Denson.

Then there was Vigo who somehow managed to have multiple labs, rape multiple killers via the blight serum and create the hatch.

Third was the Observer who was reading fanfiction and ended up disappearing so BHVR could hire multiple Voice Actors for their Tome.

It is funny how BHVR stopped doing anything with the first named characters they had and most tomes just ended up being fanfiction/multiverse level crap.

For comparison the dolldevs made the detective playable after four years and brought with it his drug-induced hallucination of a daughter (who is based on his sister) and his killer alter ego.

Killers and survivors should be on their best BHVR for a while as a microsoft account was confirmed to be suspended over problematic communication spam reports.
Microsoft support is largely automated, so, you’re screwed if you can’t drum up public interest to compel action. More accounts of non-e-celebs will be suspended.
Additionally, big youtubers drawing attention to the issues and giving the cheater attention and a reaffirming the legacy of lulzy BHVR created by the cheater is feeding the trolls really hard in a spectacular way that’ll draw in more entertaining exploitation. Finally, to lower your MMR for funner and easier matches, ones which will hopefully exit the MMR bracket try hard swfs and cheaters exist in. consider forcing everyone to hook stage 2 before letting them all go so you can tank your MMR but still play the actual game, assuring 4 escapes.

Anyways, can it really be considered voice acting if you are told to speak a few dozen lines into a microphone, which then gets edited and filtered to fuck. If you had told me that they used AI voices, I would have believed it. If you told me they only had 1 guy or 1 woman and adjusted the pitch for male and female skins, I would have believed it. Literally anyone could have VA'd the Unknown, that's the whole point of the killer. It's some weird being trying to act human and failing miserably. Just sound slightly pained or confused as you read the lines, add 50 filters so your voice is barely recognizable and the only way to know what's being said is by reading subtitles and badda bing badda boom.

This is the funniest shit I’ve seen come from this game in a while. I already liked the killer’s design but now knowing it’s pissing off troons makes me like it even more. It’s even better when you consider that BHVR is one of the most pozzed game devs of their size. They literally hold fucking company pride rallies in Canada.
