EA has this weird habit of using songs/remixes for their trailer for some reason, part of me feels it's some boomer exec thinking "that's what teens like, right?"
also seems they harder to go with it the more it's desperation to shill to that "gaymer" demographic
fwiw enjoyed the first part of 3 more than the first (or even half) part of 2.The first two Dead Space games were outstanding, and did a great job on sci-fi horror with some amazing visual moments. Dead Space 3 fell flat because those horror elements were largely replaced with action, and with only action to push for there were already plenty of shooters that did it better.
It's a shame, but as said earlier at least it was merely memoryholed rather than completely falling into ruin.
EDIT: in atmosphere. 3's gameplay changes were... eh. also felt the only reason it exists so EA can sell shit to lazy casuals and visceral did the best they could with it.
