Dead video game series/franchises you refuse to let go

Deadly Premonition, despite being technically shit the story was well worth it, unfortunately it got to cult classic status but not popular enough to afford a sequel, D4 (Swery's other game) is looking like it's going the same way too, which sucks. Especially as that ended on a cliffhanger, at least DP only teased a sequel in the directors cut.

The Jojo's Fashion Show series. It was a unique game where you had to dress up these runway models in clothes that fit the style (hippie, boho, cowboy, etc) assigned to them. You got points for combinations and being within the time limit. I'd suggest the first and the second one, but the third (World Tour) was inferior and probably was the death kneel for the series.

I used to love intercepting torpedo waves
God damn that game was awesome.

Anyway
Truecrime streets of and its spirtual successor sleeping dogs. Great games that were fun to play with great replay value that no one has interest in continuing.

Is it a series if only one game came out?
I've been playing around with VTM: Bloodlines mods again. Some of the new features are cool, but right now it's still ultimately the same game. The Antitribu and Clan Quest mods are promising to bring alternate story paths but as of right now, no delivery. It could take months so I play around with this once or twice a year and there's usually updates somewhere in that timeframe.

Bloodlines itself got rushed through development and didn't sell well, the VTM universe is outdated, and a fan (reboot? sequel?) got canned through Cease-And-Desist a long time ago. :heart-empty:*sigh*

Sleeping Dogs WAS getting a spin-off MMO for some fucking reason I shit you not. How the fuck Square EVER thought that fans of that game wanted an MMO to play is absolutely beyond me, but it got canceled. I don't know if there's hope for a sequel, but I'd really like that.
