I rather buy battlefield 5 than give money to tripshit.Rising storm is AWESOME and very much like the good Battlefields. Rising storm 2 vietnam is how battlefield vietnam should be.
I'd actually be interested in seeing a build log of this if you ever do it.Until recently, I kept an old Pentium PC on life support with it's original un-updated Windows 98, solely to run Tom Clancy's Red Storm Rising, Homeworld, Tribes, the entire Wing Commander series (including Privateer), and Heroes of Might & Magic.
One day I might resurrect the thing.....
Only played 2 but it ended one a cliffhanger that one would think it could get a sequel. Considering the mainline series last made a WWII themed game a year or two back while Bad Company was last released about a decade ago, Bad Company 3 could be a thing, at least until one remembers EA could try to find a way to gut it for whatever money they can get while letting the product suffer in the eyes of older fans.Battlefield bad company suffered an undeserved end.
Always wanted to try Wizardry. There are a lot of fans on this site I noticed. Is it worth starting with 6? I can't seem to find the first 5 anywhere that isn't a legitimate storefront.Oh god how do I want a new Wizardry game, in the style of 6 through 8 and not like all those 1 through 3 and also 5 reskins that come out of Japan. I'd even take a proper "trilogy remake" with updated graphics for all (and possibly retrofitting 8 to the grid based style and 6&7 class change system), but definitely carrying over keeping the characters endings/beginnings through the three games. I've been playing Grimoire lately. It does a decent job of getting the feel (particularly of 7) down but the interface is an exercise in frustration

I've heard about 4 and how exiting the first room is nearly impossible if you don't know what to do. It sounds interesting but I go back and forth whether I want to subject myself to it.Any of 1,2,3 and 5 are mostly interchangeable. 4 is an interesting idea and worth playing anyway, but you'll need the manual

One other question, I've seen screenshots of Wizardry and it looks remarkably similar to the Might and Magic games. What makes Wizardry special from those other dungeon crawlers exactly?
What is it with these PC fantasy dungeon crawlers that get all science-fictiony out of nowhere? Ultima I, II, and III and the first several Might and Magic games all end up going to space or some shit and it's downright bizarre. In the later trilogy? You're in the middle of a war between space marine rhinos and astral spiders, with a rat mafia in the background

Space rhinos and a rat mafia sound insane though and I have to see that.
Nintendo didn't turn it into a waifu game because they didn't even try. Sami alone has enough waifu potential to keep a trilogy afloat. Nintendo dumped it to rot along with F-Zero, Custom Robo and Metroid.Advance wars. got axed beacuse they could not turn it into a waifu game.
