I would say it's a topic worth discussing, though, as a good chunk of the anime I see being produced is filled, to the brim, with unnecessarily revealing clothes on women, a cast of majority women, and plenty of them are younger and all hitting on the main, male, protagonist. It's blatantly a sexual fantasy/fetish thing and it's rampant in the modern day anime scene and does, in fact, directly feed into the types of deviancy we see everywhere in the online space.

Or, to put it another way, I'm not afraid to play CoD in front of my wife but I sure as hell wouldn't watch 90% of the anime Crunchyroll recommends with her anywhere in the same zip code.
