American born abroad here. When I returned to America, my first job at a large workplace was at a USPS processing facility. I walked into the breakroom and there was a 300+ lbs woman with a sleeve of crackers and a can of spray cheese.

I had lived in quaint villages with butcher shops and coffee houses so the reality of the situation was lost on me until I saw that. What I learned is that many people in America, mostly the working poor, have no idea what food is.

Bake your own bread. It isn't that hard. I am learning to make my own cheese and cold cuts too. Without an expensive specialty shop everything you buy is shit. There are plenty of videos to help you learn how to make real food. You can get a good breadmaker at a thrift store for $20 if you don't have the time to knead.

Here is the best easy bread recipe. Perfect for dipping into sauces or slathering with honey and butter. They are better than many bakeries and no kneading.
This should be the main point, even if it was true that everything in America was nothing but woodshavings and sugar, we have the freedom and ease of access to do whatever we want after a couple of youtube videos and some quick shopping. Not forced to grow 4 peppers a year on a dirty eastern european balcony, I have a medium amount of land and can go wild at my leisure.

And you had no laundry or air conditioning? There was no kitchen? And you used the stove to heat your accommodation?
The air condition I can believe, it's not really common here.
Maybe he lived in some, ex-commie rathole.

That still is shit industrial cheese, only slighty fancier than the cheddar.

The cheese hiarchy of the amaricans supermarket from goyslop to fine cuisine : Plastic cheese in slices, plastic cheese, all kinds of cheddar, swiss, permesan (americans do feel fancy when putting some Kraft permesan on their pasta soaked in canned sauce), feta cheese (for the healthy yoga mom eating greek salad instead of a burger), goat cheese (waw buddy! is it some cheese made with goat milk??????), and, if your in the midwest, cheese curds (at least it is fresh and local).
And the goalposts get moved again by the coping Europoors who cannot emotionally or psychologically accept that Americans have the option to eat just as well as they do

Yeah but "bongslop" or whatever about the Chinese etc etc.

America will continue to eat shit, but at least your not "yurope", so it must mean you have the best and most free food in the world.

That mentallity based on nonsense is why you will continue to eat shit, you can just mock something you do not understand and be proud of your blazing Eagles and fighter jets.

Shit man, you can even grow herbs and stuff in an apartment balcony depending on where you live. Go wild.

everyone needs to start bragging about access to pepperocinis

all this thread has proven is that

A. Joshua Moon is a Benedict Arnold who hates God and freedom, and wants the terrorists to win
B. You can make even grizzled American Internet veterans selfdox in a blind fury by making fun of their access to cheese, or lack thereof

Well done and fuck you, Josh

I can get local stuff incredibly easy. Then again, I live in a state that still highly relies on agriculture and even the horrid transplants like our food.

I can go fifteen minutes away from my house in any direction and get local dairy, fruits, and vegetables. You ARE correct in that some areas, fresh baked bread is rare. It’s simply too expensive (“artisanal“), but I chalk that up to economic depression and an increasing lack of time or knowledge to bake one’s own.

Although you’re talking to someone who wrapped up Chick-Fil-A nuggets in expensive salami and dunked them into spinach dip at a Halloween party last night.

You go to local bakeries, cheese shops, meat stores, farmers market, or make it yourself. Co-ops also have neat things in them too.
Go outdoors, explode an Elk's head with .300 winchad and get to the Salmon before the Bears do, bake your own bread, be content with Mozzarella because cheese making is tricky.

Buy the goat cheese
Buy the marinated chicken bag
Buy the sour cream
Buy the onion
Buy the jalapeno
Buy cilantro (If you were black you'd be complaining about peanuts and dairy)
Buy the avocado
Fry your tortillas
Make tacos

it sounds like student housing, those are often ultra minimalist because it has to be giga dirt cheap.
still dumb to draw conclusions from that, it's like spending half a year in a college dorm and concluding that americans all live with random strangers as roommates.

But that isn't "Europe" is it?
east berlin was commie until 1990

Nigga I can name three local/regional butchers I can source meat from, I can name 3 local bakeries making artisanal breads and various other baked goods and I can name a half dozen fromageries offering world class local cheeses, and I don't even live in that big of a city.

This boy lives in Florida years ago, does the expat thing and still thinks he knows everything about everywhere in the USA.

I can literally buy goat and sheep cheese. That's not cheddar. I can go to a bakery that makes their bread fresh every day. I can go to a farmer's market. It doesn't matter if it's USDA approved. If they're slaughtering their cows right at their own farm, that immediately defeats your dumb ass logic. I get you were sheltered as a kid when you lived in the USA but shut the fuck up about European standards. Their cakes FUCKING SUCK.

It's kinda sad, I've visited both the US and China, and the latter had better and more affordable food honestly, still can't get milk right though, I can only ever find good milk in northern europe
Do not buy anything cow related from China. They ship all of their cows without food or water for DAYS from places like Poland and other far away countries in below freezing temps to Asia. It's animal cruelty 100% of the way. The cows aren't allowed to rest during that entire trip, either, cuz Russia fucking sucks and has no rest stops for the cows to be let out.

Dies Null know that not all food comes from Walmart? They've actually been losing grocery market share to the Supermarkets who now are baking fresh breads and offering all sorts of cheese options. Everything from Trader Joes to Publix and Kroger.

Very few living Americans even know what that disgusting canned spray cheese is. Yes poor deathfats living in trailers eat badly. Welcome to the spiral of bad life decisions we make fun of here. But they really aren't the norm.

But that isn't "Europe" is it?
I meant the commie blocks the soviets built while they ruled part of Berlin. The apartments in those aren't exactly roomy. Wherever he was, he shouldn't view it as the norm though.

Three words: Amish farmers market. You watch these straw hat niggers make their shit in front of you. There are also meat and cheese stands from local farms. Also Amish people don't think the law pertains to them at all so I'm pretty sure most of the shit is actually from local farms.
It is really sad to see the state of the American grocery store though :(
