And for fucks sake, I could not find a decent cup of coffee throughout the length and breadth of England during my time there, despite the insane amount of French and Polacks and Turks who run the restaurant service industry there and presumably know how to brew coffee far better than the goddammed Anglo-Saxons.I've been to most of Europe, they can't cook a burger to save their lives, even though it is extremely easy to do right.
I also blame the laziness of Americans that has been exacerbated by the advent of Door Dash and other food-delivery services, some of which claim to have 'fresh ingredients' delivered right to your door. This takes away even further the need to make informed choices, to cut corners. In my opinion, the Post-Industrial Service-Based Economy has been a tremendous blow to American's self-worth.
I actually like this thread. It's genius enough to bring me out of dormancy, I find the poor diets of Americans are critical to their lowered I.Q.s and general stupidity and an existential threat.
