I think Chris was trying to imply that Cole spends time with her family instead of Barb.

Or maybe Cole does with her family. You're not going to be able to afford an apartment in Manhattan playing in a band and having a review site that gets a dozen hits per month.

All he has to do is put some of the doodles Chris forced on him up for auction and he can buy his own beer. (Assuming his pride isn't too hurt that more people care about his brother than they care about "the worlds smartest film critic")
 
Does anybody renenber that tweet screencap from Cole's twitter that said something like "I wish people would stop pestering me about my retarded brother"? was that real or 'shooped?

EDIT: Found it. Sure looks shooped though (look how the text area overlaps with the "favorite" star...)
 
I always got the vibe that Cole was a dang dirty homo and just not willing to come out to his family. Huh.

Probably. I'd imagine he believes everything Barb says. God knows what she says when she rants about Cole escaping her clutches and having a normal life without her or Chris (or the late lumberjack). But of course she just talks about every single little bad thing Cole has ever done, and pins it on his "brain damage" because one time Mother of the Year Barbara Weston can do no wrong. And because Chris is dumb and naive he doesn't question this, even as she makes his life miserable.

Actually I wonder if Chris didn't care so much about Cole's wedding until he told Barb, who promptly became pissed and started ranting. "Well I don't care for Cole much because he uses big, long words because of da brain damage, but Mommy is mad so I'm mad too!"

I wouldn't be surprised if he did years ago and just doesn't have the ability (or the nerve) to crash weddings to pick up chicks. I mean, he viewed The 40 Year Old Virgin as a guide for older, single men to date successfully and get laid while simultaneously showing people how sad it is for older men to be virgins.

Y'know, I was wondering that too. How much of Chris' anger is Chris and how much is Barb. He's ranted about the subject in other ways than just twitter and he's pretty worked up about it. Barb might've brought up the subject to Chris, but he seems really pissed about it.
 
Perhaps Chris is feeling resentful that Cole is getting married and not him. Chris' USI makes him fully believe that he should be getting married happily ever after well before and JERKS out there.

I'd be willing to bet that even if Barb actually got invited, she'd still find a way to twist it into an insult or negative of some sort, she just strikes me as that sort of person.
 
on a side note, Cole is 50 years old one month from today. Will Chris send him another mix-CD with today's hits?
