I think Zegler can be quite beautiful, but she does have an unconventional face that if styled in the wrong way can look weird and gnome-like. I also think Gal is weird casting, not because of her looks (Charlize Theron was iconique in the same role in Snow White and the Huntsman) but because she’s a shit actress.

I also wouldn’t be surprised if this remake changes the Queen’s motivations for going after Snow White. Knowing nuDisney they’ll have Snow starting up a nonprofit for peasant girls of color to earn STEM degrees and the Queen doesn’t believe in education, or something.

Reminds me how John Lasseter was fired and basically the word (at least what I remember it to be) was that he really liked hugging the ladies working there a lot. Which is I definitely get why that would get someone in trouble but it's hardly some Harvey Weinstein casting couch shenanigans.

My speculation; One of the main bosses at Disney has a meeting with the alleged victims, tells them if they go to the press/police the outcry will likely result in the production getting scrapped, and being indirectly told that their future with Disney will probably not go much further because no one likes snitches. The sequel was actually pretty fun. It was less about the military getting it's ass kicked and more about the evil future whaling industry/coast guard getting it's ass kicked. Plus lang had a rather intelligent plan for routing out and capturing Jake sully as opposed to just killing everything.

Basically it's a smaller scale movie where Jake and family go AWOL from being a blue man revolutionary for completely selfish reasons. ( And this is actually acknowledged which was great, some water tribe racism too which was fun)

As an avid Tron fan, I think the premise is so cheap with the computer stuff coming into the real world, very unoriginal.

The idea was actually the premise for the sequel to legacy that never got made sadly. I think with a good writer it could be interesting, but I'm not holding my breath.


I like leto as an actor (not as a person, he's more then a little crazy. Ran an actual cult for a while. Hopefully hasn't killed or raped anyone but I wouldn't be surprised) and I can see him pulling off playing a computer program.

I'm glad they brought back bridges but Im actually kinda fond of the other two leads of legacy even if I can't remember their names. I don't think they come back but I'll watch it if they do.

While I enjoy legacy I still think the premise of the digital world escaping made for a better narrative threat than a reality to explore for a sequel. I think the world of tron is a character in itself and it's a bit of a waste to leave it when people are much more familiar with computers now and you could play with a lot of complex ideas.

The criticism people throw at older Disney movies is so tired and is like 85% of the reason why we keep getting these awful reimaginings.

Snow White shouldn't be compared to a modern Disney film because it was literally the first of its kind.

It was meant to be a simple fairytale to give people hope during the depression and prove that a cartoon can make people feel real feelings, and pushing it any further than what it already was could have really sourd the experience of a 1930s audience.


It literally kick-started animation as a medium, so I don't see how anybody could downplay it's important to Disney unless they just don't care about animation anymore

To its credit the leaked trailer does look like they go to the grid quite a bit. The parts where the tron tech is slicing cars In half and blowing stuff up is cool.
