That's... That's even lamer than the teaser trailer.

The racism and empowerment angles are overplayed and oversated. Show not tell. That's like the number one rule and the animation is just ugly and clippy. Seriously those fire spirits look like mobile game 3d models. World building makes little sense and seems to amount to jokes. Fuck this is going to suck.

Wow...its even more generic and painfully "modern" with its writing than I initially thought.

It also looks like shit, not generic shit but shitty shit. Like this was put together by some foreign film group with no budget. Which is surprising because Pixar films at least look passable if nothing else.

He has since co-written and directed films such as the Rocky series spinoff, Creed (2015), and the Marvel film Black Panther (2018), the latter of which broke numerous box office records and became the highest-grossing film of all time by an African American director. Coogler also co-wrote and directed its sequel Black Panther: Wakanda Forever (2022).

What would a diverse cast for the X-Files even mean?

Scully is the doctor, so has to be black under the woke algorithm. Mulder, if he's white then he'll have to be an idiot with everyone else covering his ass, he may be in the right direction but the non-whites need to actually fill in the blanks. However, with the woke algorithm, he has to be black. He's the lead.

So, maybe if they're both black they'll both he capable characters.

Skinner according to the woke algorithm will be a black woman. Most likely overweight. Or some other deviation from normal, like dumb hair.

So it will once again be diverse for being all black people and not actually diverse. Mulder could be Hispanic though. Woke algorithm is telling me someone like Gabriel Luna.

The cigarette smoking man will be white. He'll be atoning for sins of the past.

The question comes to conspiracies. The show will be dead on arrival if it deals with modern day conspiracies. They're also not supernatural. The core problem with the types on conspiracies in the original is a lot of it was monster of the week. Pre-mass internet. Supernatural shit. Which is far less believable today. Writer's won't have grown up on that shit these days. As they'll hire a writers room of mainly fresh 20somethings.

I think the moment's past for a show like the X-Files. Something like Fringe as an adjacent genre show is a much better update. Yet being the X-Files this can't be that.

So it circles around to the elephant in the room. Conspiracies based around the subjugation of black people. Will it go full on We Wuz Kings? National Black Treasure?

Or have they finally gotten past the current era idea that shows with black people, diverse casts, need to be race focused and just make a show where it doesn't matter.

I feel like the woke algorithm doesn't account for latinx people being in the USA for a long time, so older roles are less likely. However it does say latinx need to be a dreamer or come from illegal immigrants.

If they do a chupacabra episode, it must be about immigration.

I haven't accounted for gay. Running the algorithm, Skinner has to mention her wife or ex-wife or something in the first episode.

Side though, has ant procedural TV show ever had a trans victim where it's not mentioned and their pronouns are used? Something along the lines of, "a 29 year old woman was killed." Yet it's clearly just a dude. Never addressed.

That thought gets me onto, would a new X-Files be serialised or episode of the week?
 
Christ Elemental looks terrible and not only the most heavy-handed of Pixar films but the ugliest. It just looks really low effort and I can sense a bomb also it just sounds like Zootopia but more woke. What the fuck is with Pixar and the Villain being generational divide - VERY SCARY AND SPOOKY.

Gratz on murdering X files too Disney I am sure it will do you good. Fuck how can a company with so many money issues be so bad at making money and knowing it's target audiences. Universal in the next few years is going to fucking hollow them out because you know what people are saying. "I can't wait for epic universe, I can't wait for Mario World." Things Disney have not heard about their parks in decades.

Rocket's story is pretty much ending in 3, he's just trying to make the character seem more important than he is. Typical PR fluff.
