I wouldn't bet on it. Yes, they are pushing a lot of crap, but they're also releasing a significant portion of their filmography and the stuff they own, including Marvel movies, Star Wars, and The Simpsons. There are enough people out there wanting to watch capeshit, SW, and classic Simpsons that at the very least Disney+ would get a modest audience. So any possibility of Disney+ failing? They just seem to be pushing way too much crap and the truly good stuff like the classic films seems to be limited. I genuinely feel sorry if there are people out there genuinely invested in a Lady and the Tramp remake.
The bigger question is if it's going to overtake Netflix. Right now, Netflix is the primary streaming service, but Disney+ could easily overtake it just from its in-house selection alone (I mean that in the sense of what Disney already has available, like classic movies and Marvel). Disney doesn't have to pay royalties or rights to show their movies when they could just throw their classic animated movies on the service, and people will gobble that shit up.
