It's been peaceful on the forums as of late. After the last time checked, there aren't even any new retarded community projects to talk about. The most interesting comments, at the moment, come from the Kiwi Dreams Moddb download page and are criticizing the DBPs of all things.

What do you think? Are the DBPs getting too slaughtery? Are they missing some of its old mappers? Are the new faces to blame? Are the DBK more faithful to the DBP formula than the current releases? I already shared my thought at the bottom, but i'm interested in more opinions.
In my opinion, the DBPs always had at least one or two maps that will throw big hordes of monsters at the player, but some people are misinterpreting this as slaughter gameplay. I haven't played all the DBPs, but from the ones i did play, i've never encountered a map that is full on slaughter from start to finish. Even when i complained about one of Matador's maps on DBP67 Marble Hill, for having a claustrophobic trial and error slaughtery encounter in the middle, that was just one part of the map, not the whole thing. And even then, it was just "the no room for error" aspect in that fight that i had a problem with, not the overall idea behind it.
