Dreams

Often the night before a big event (party, important job interview, etc.) I will dream of waking up on that day in some crazy alternate universe where everything either goes completely to hell and/or extremely weird shit happens. More often than not the day will end with some form of large explosion.

Otherwise, my dreams are equal parts lucid dreaming and regular old insanity, with the occasional probably-symbolic maybe-nightmare thrown in for flavour.
 
I had a dream where I accidentally went into the men's restroom. I knew it was for men because Pope Francis was in there.

Really weird dream about the entire cast of game of thrones being their house animals in a fairy tale. Jofferey was a stag for some reason though.

There wasn't a dead corpse with a pool of blood was there? If so, you had a better dream than I did.
 
I've had this dream several times lately that I'm a "cam girl" and I'm getting ready for my show. Ain't nobody need to see that.

Oh, ha. Sunday I had one where Bob and teddy from bobs burgers went to a hotel room together, but it wasn't sexual in nature. However, Louise followed them, and thought it was.
 
Wish I had more funny dreams like that. It's interesting to hear what people encounter in their subconscious. Mine aren't usually that funny.
Take the one I had last night for example. In a lot of these dreams I take a more passive role. It's not like I'm there but I'm seeing everything that's happening. The one last night/early this morning was kind of terrifying, of something that very likely WILL happen ( but not in our lifetime); earth's last days. very real event that will happen in the distant future, should humanity not have evolved or extinguished itself altogether, because the problem the planet
I was underground, A woman in some officer's uniform was telling her little sister to stay away from the entry way during the day time. And I quickly found out why; the light was overpowering. it looked like what you'd see if you looked at a red laser light with one open eye. The bright reddish orange light shining through the cave entrance took up a quarter of the sky. Nothing outside but hot rock. Nothing could live out there. This was earth. and the sun was taking up a fourth of the sky, These people were people who either chose not to, or couldn't go to the 'colony' supposedly an artificial earth. Some coolant tanks ruptured, a few large boiler exploded, and a chain reaction resulted. and everyone in the underground shelter was killed, horribly.
When things began overheating, the song " Fuze" from the Streets of Rage remake began playing. After the the explosion, I woke up in a cold sweat.
 
I had a dream last night where my family and I were eating moldy strawberries while watching this show that was a crossover between Mad Men and Dragon Ball Z. :\
 
I had some weird dream that I was in a G-Mod like world, getting attacked by flying balls. After that, I encountered Barney from Half-Life 2 and then somehow ended up in a bedroom, needing water because of wood chips in my mouth or something. Dreams are truly weird.
 
I keep having recurring dreams of traveling by train. However, today, for the first time in those dreams, I was the one in control of the train. It had very few pedals and buttons to press, and the view from the front was very clear, so I wasn't too stressed out about having to drive.

Interesting. It seems you may have caught the autism. Although spending more than four minutes a day here, I shouldn't be surprised.

Do any of you have dreams that "change the subject"? Happens to me all the time. One dream I had involved me out at sea, and then I was in a public building nowhere near the sea. Bugs the crap out of me.

All the time.

It's so weird that your mind just hand waves dreams. I know it's to not disturb your sleeping, but... I swear, when having a dream everything seems to make total sense. But then when you're awake and try to explain it, it just sounds bizarre because Fridge Logic comes in.

I was playing Gamecube. In the bathtub. That was the dream.
 
I have a very strange alternate dream world. It is within the chain of islands I live in, but many of them are merged into one, and there are a lot of atoll-like islands in it, in particular there's one between the islands I travel every day via ferry. And for some reason, whenever I dream I am going to Nassau, the Capitol Island, its by using a pterodactyl and the main island I live on is a huge, lush jungle filled with gigantic vines and such, and we fly through it almost like in the movie Avatar.

And for the longest time, there was just this darkness. And all of a sudden, thousands of robins were set free, and they flew down and brought this Blinding Light of Love. And it seemed like that love would be the only thing that would make any difference. And it did. So I guess it means there is trouble 'til the robins come"

yeah. One where I was talking to some girl at a cafe about something and as soon as I walk out the door, I end up in some desert. Dreams are weird like that.

I just had an odd dream where a thunderstorm was coming. Lightning struck about 10 meters in front of me, but the lightning was in the form of a large round abstract concrete sculpture (that vaguely resembled a flower or a Calabi–Yau manifold) smashing into the ground, shattering with a horrificly loud crash, and releasing small bolts of plasma around it upon shattering.

What's weird is that the impact was loud only in response to me thinking something like, "a lightning strike right in front of me is going to be loud as hell".

I'm pretty sure that's not how lightning works.
