Thanks to melatonin, I had a really vivid and disturbing dream last night. I dreamt that my family and I were in a car accident. My body was all contorted and broken, and hot sticky blood covered me. I struggled to stay conscious despite my injuries and blood loss, but my vision greys out as I watched the equally injured car occupants dying.
You shouldn't take melatonin too often. It can unbalance some of the chemicals in the brain if you aren't careful.

I had a frightening dream last night. I dreamed that I accidentally murdered a friend. In the dream, it was dark, I had a knife in my hand, and I heard a strange voice behind me. I quickly turned around while slashing the knife and it sliced the neck of what was behind me. It fell over, quickly went white, and I realized I had killed one of my closest friends. The action had immediately chilled me to my bones. I've never had a history of homicidal thoughts or murderous impulses. I dropped the knife, went to my knees and started panicking. Then I realized I must be dreaming and kept telling myself to wake up. I eventually did. I didn't go back to sleep after that.

Well I'm already on psychiatric medication for chemical brain imbalances, specifically serotonin deficits. Thankfully melatonin doesn't contribute to Serotonin Syndrome, since melatonin is a derivative to serotonin and not a precursor. I like how melatonin helps me fall asleep easily and I enjoy the weird dreams it sometimes gives me. But many times it's hard to wake me up in the morning and sometimes I get unpleasant dreams like the above.

Yea, had dreams of a demon made of shadows and black vapors rather than flesh growing up as a kid. Think of Lucifer's shadow form in Dante's inferno. ( of course this was before I even saw or played the game) it's color changed at times though, sometimes a turquoise color, other time's a yellowish green. Other times it became a metallic liquid, ( mercury maybe.) Sometimes it had human-like fetaures other times it would resemble Death more like a skeleton with a sword than a scythe. And other times, a dragon. Never really knew what made me think about it, but hey, just a dream, right?

I don't dream too often, but when I do, it's always in sequence. In other words, like a novel - in chapters.

One day I might dream about getting into a car. A month later I might dream about driving that same car. Two months later I might dream about parking that very same car.

Very strange in my opinion.

I had a dream I fought a dragon. It's time to turn off Skyrim

I remember having another tooth dream. It was rather strange than scary. I was just eating some food (I think it was KFC) and somehow a tooth came out but with no blood. Also had a dream where I turned in a paper to my English 116 professor only for him to say it wasn't good and looking at it, it looked like something a first grader would do.

I had a rather weird dream that went like this: In the front passenger side of car that is driven by a former peer from the Tagalog 101 class I had last semester. Somehow, she gets out of the window and on top of the car as it moves, prompting me to take the wheel. She comes back to take it as we reach a couple toll booths, of which she destroys the wooden arm that you stop in front of. Then somehow I'm on the campus of the college I attend where I tell my brony friend that I'm a brony, then somehow I walk off and come across a shack that has the model of the gravity gun from Half-Life 2.

I had a dream about the big console tv my folks used to have. I was in the living room, and I kept on hearing scratching sounds coming out of the tv. I kept on telling my mom but she didn't believe me. Then out rolls a kitten from behind the tv.

I keep having a dream that I get fired from my job. Now the reality is I may be quitting to join the crew a 16th century sailing ship. I think life is switching up which one is usually the dream and which isn't.

I always dream about the Kmart in the town I grew up in. I'm driving by it and it's closed for good. In tonight's we drove by, and the door was open and there was just a little bit of light in the door way and there was this man standing there.

There was this big tree with a face on it.
I shot it in the heart with an arrow.
That somehow caused all of the water on earth to become poisoned.

Proof Male causes the apocalypse.

In my latest dream I was microwaving Pizza Rolls that had cookies and cream filling rather than the regular savory pizza-type filling. I'm not quite sure if Totino's should market cookies 'n cream pizza rolls or not...

Fuck yeah, Pizza rolls.

In Nov 2011. I had one of the most vivid and hilarious dreams. With some hints of racism in it. I thought I'd give it a title.
I turn on the tv and instead of the channel number three hexagons appear, I blink and I'm treated to a view of Sesame Street. So Big bird is in a court room and whatever crime he was accused of was unknown. The courtroom scene featured A Christopher Walken Muppet acting as judge, and Gilbert Gottfried (as himself) as the foul-mouthed prosecutor. Shit happened that will take too long to explain. but after the Guilty verdict, Billy Joel played the death jingle from Super Mario world.
Big Bird is dragged out of the city by a mob of angry muppets to what looks like a castle, where inside, The muppets take him to a mad scientist. Beaker and that green faced guy who hangs with him were there, but the Mad scientist basically told BB in a rather nasally voice and Wisconsin accent, that he would be placed in the electric chair, which the muppets placed him in. The scientist has Beaker ( the guy who can only say "mememememeee" ) pull the switch and the scientist laughs an evil but annoying nasaly laugh. Big bird is electrocuted and for reasons unknown, his head explodes. Gordon made a comment about fried chicken, and the dream ended. I should note that Heavy Weapons Guy was there, randomly.
If it wasn't so hilariously fucked up, this dream would have made a great creepypasta.

My dreams are normally mundane stuff, but one time I had a dream I chalked up to too much reading about the Olduvai theory. In it, it was the future, and society had collapsed into a "steampunk" world where people lived in "mobile home" airships. I was one of the people in it, checking out a relic from the 21st century (a smartphone or something), before piloting an airship over a canyon filled with pine trees (a landscape similar to Northern Arizona IRL).

I also keep having recurring dreams about going back and living in my dorm room (a single occupant studio) at my old university.

I don't take them seriously.
