Drunk me got offered marijuana last weekend and I got high for the first time in my life.

It was underwhelming and not worth the hangover, but at least I know how it feels now.

Got a bottle of this I've been sipping on tonight. Kinda underwhelming. Tastes too sweet, almost like marzipan. Neat bottle for the gimmick though, mostly why I bought it.

Pot keeps you from getting dizzy and nauseous so you probably drank more than usual. I have doubts about cannabis giving you a hangover

Offered my postblocked friend on Facebook information (gathered on this website) about her posting about Tienanmen Square, and why it's probably the reason she's postblocked. But don't worry my avid readers, I didn't mention country or incident (I did namedrop this website though...). She's probably going to get postblocked again.

I'm on a (very) healthy drinking diet of Paulaner tonight, with a shot of bourbon to start the night.

Are you crazy? Either smoking or drinking will give a separate hangover which can be easily cured, but smoking and drinking is an incurable disease.

In my experience, I have to be aware of how much I've drank so I don't throw up, while I can smoke as much pot as I want and still wake up fresh as a daisy. If I'm drinking a lot, I usually take a few hits off the bong/joint to take the edge off. Consequently, this leads to getting faded, which is a different issue altogether.

Then again, pot's different for everybody so my advice could be completely useless lol.

So I'm super high right now and I mean like super high. Shit the last time I was this high we were taking double dose edibles after exams. Fuccccckkkk.

So after a year of not smoking weed at all, I decided to try it again over the weekend.

Just for a bit of background I smoked weed most days out of the week for about 10 years prior to my year of cannabis abstinence.

On the first day I was surprised how hard and fast it hit me. I packed one bowl of my bong and the first one had me knocked on my ass. I ended up just having another bong hit about half an hour later and leaving it for the day. I braced myself so was able avoid coughing.

My thoughts/perspective seemed to shift immediately, which was both good and bad. My neck and shoulders felt less sore then they had been which is a definite plus but I also felt very tired and lethargic.

My eyes would go red for a while after taking the bong hits. My mouth also went very dry.

In terms of physical performance I was able to run about as well on the first day, didn't run my best on the second or third day, but not bad.

I also found myself wanting to sleep a lot more and going for naps which wasn't really that great. This was definitely more of a body high than a head high, although there were elements of both.

Overall an interesting experience. I'd built up such a tolerance from smoking so heavily and so often over the years that it was kind of refreshing to just have a couple of bong hits have such an intense effect.

I did seem to enjoy food and music more.

I guess I wasn't in a very good headspace going into it, as I just generally had thoughts that I'm unsatisfied with my life even before smoking it.

When I got into it as a teenager I recall uncontrollable laughing fits, getting the munchies and how good it felt to eat, listening to music, an almost psychedelic experience.

It seemed like such a fun and cool thing to do. These days I'm not too sure.

I don't want to make it a habit again, but once in a blue moon won't hurt. Besides, I didn't have to pay for this stuff.

Maybe I'll try making edibles like brownies and yogurts sometime in the future instead of smoking. Haven't done that in many years.
