Also @clothes in my closet he has to do some side content. Early levels in D&D are fucking huge. You go from being 1 hit kill to at least living a few bad attacks. Even with handholding he will still fuck up. Dents handheld him through his ER magic build and he was still dying more than he should because he was too stupid to check his surroundings and remember magic spells have a charge up and can't be bullshit spammed.

If he does get handheld into a OP character, he will have them charge suicidally into combat and die over and over until the facetanking damage strategy finally works.

He'll try it a few times, then say that it is too much work for only a few points of extra damage and stop doing it.

BG3 is definitely easier then DOS2, but still challenging enough on normal for those with consoomer brain. If he runs a Vengeance Paladin you know he's being prepped through a guide or the dents. My guess is he's been told you can roll a fighter and steamroll most of the game. Not that he will steamroll any of it, but normal people can with decent skill and good gear.

My guess is he does fine at first. He'll avoid anything too challenging like fighting the Cambion on the ship and just walk past. Once he gets past the opening area (leaving the Grove to go do stuff) that's where he'll start to break down. I doubt he even leaves the grove today.

An I fully agree. The game on normal should be no problem for any normal person. I highly doubt that Phil can manage the party spellslots and will never figure out the difference between spells and cantrips

How does he still not get that for a streamer it doesn't matter if the game is good or not doesn't matter? Like why would someone watching a game care how the game is to play when they're not the ones playing it? Plenty of streamers play shit games, usually they're good for streaming since there's more to make fun of.
