Why is there so much hate at Dread?
It doesn’t look bad at all. People are epic shit, as always.

people are trying to cope with the fact that Nintendo won again.,Why is there so much hate at Dread?

Tina is okay, she spent a lot of time doing the incredibly unfun job of 100 percenting grindfests for the guides team. I'd laugh if it was her who Peer was falling on his sword for in the Palestine tweet debacle. What did you expect? She used to work for Kotaku. All she did was write blogposts and whine about online trolls. Now she's the fucking editor in chief of IGN.
They do but there was no Sony conference this year.Do black people even play video games? I thought real life was enough for them, being a GTA simulator and all.
The two Final Fantasy games will probably be at Sony's presentation in a month, Blizzard games NEVER show up at E3. We also got GotG and Starfield updates. I would say this was an okay year for reveals if you account for Sony coming later and Pokemon going early.I'm sure someone else was more direct than I was but this was my comment : "They might as well go out of their way to not let Nintendo be deemed the winner just to show how utterly bankrupt E3 is."
Just unreal. To think the most anticipated game was a freaking driving game, a genre I haven't heard any hype for since some iteration of Gran Turismo.
On another note, it's also unreal how little updates we've gotten for major games besides Breath of the Wild 2, FF16, Elden Ring, and Halo Infinite and even then we just got some trailers for the first 2. At least Halo Infinite showed off gameplay. Nothing on FF7 remake, nothing on Kingdom Hearts (not that I personally care anymore), nothing on System Shock 3 or the remake, nothing on Metroid Prime 4, Nothing on Diablo 4 (correct?), etc. That is quite underwhelming to say the least.

Edit : I forgot to add Perfect Dark on the list of no updates on.
The Forza teams are the best racing/driving teams in the industry. They constantly push what the xbox console can do and don't receive anywhere near the recognition they should. Forza horizon 4 on x1x looked phenomenal, and I'm not a racing guy.Graphics hogs apparently are pumped for it (I was AFK or look into at another screen while working and missed it,) I listened to a random pod cast last night where all of the hosts gave it too 3 ratings. It's not the type of game hardcore gamers would get excited about but I guess it deserves some recognition.
The average Nintendo fan has no fucking idea what Metroid even is and just know Samus Aran from Smash. The hardcore Metroid fan doesn't understand that Nintendo isn't going to make a balls hard game for the autists who have been perfecting Super Metroid/Fusion runs for 20-30 years. Why is there so much hate at Dread?
China has never innovated since Mao. They always stole their tech and even then you used to have Jackie Chan saying he'd rather buy Japanese or Korean TVs because they won't explode on you. What is the deal with China? They used to be innovators in the past, what happened? Why can all they do is copy today?
I'd also add that there is a firm contingent, of which a sizable portion is nintendo fans for some reason, who either pirate games when they're publically available but seem to feel bad about doing it or who don't want to by more games but don't want to be seen as missing out on great titles. So they go in with the most negative mindset each time to justify to themselves and others that it's not worth paying for, regardless of the game's own merits.
So basically, the only people excited are probably like the people who just have fond memories of playing Metroid throughout their lives (and thus are not autists who are going to sperg on forums), or are like me who do still play Super Metroid/Fusion to this day but have enough common sense to realize that Nintendo isn't going to make the games balls fucking hard for specifically for me and that Nintendos 3D graphics have had a certain "look" for the past 10 years or so and are not upset that Metroid Dread isn't the darkest looking game ever.
I think I've said it here before, but a lot of people don't seem to understand that Metroid isn't just Super Metroid and has taken a very different approach with every game following it. So you'll see a lot of bitching about how "easy" the game is and complaints it's too colorful or bright.
Back in the SNES days you also could just have a black background, something Super Metroid did in a few areas and regular Metroid did in, what, all of them? That doesn't cut it anymore. We also only got one level of Dread, which was set in a ship environment, things are probably going to look different when/if Samus gets into the planetary part of the planet. The average Nintendo fan has no fucking idea what Metroid even is and just know Samus Aran from Smash. Most fans are expecting some flavor of metroid prime and its darker tones and atmosphere, since the trilogy greatly overshadowed fusion/mainline metroid. The average Nintendo fan has no fucking idea what Metroid even is and just know Samus Aran from Smash. To me it looks like it's going to have the same issues as Samus Returns, MercurySteam are mediocre developers at best, like a western Artoon/Arzest.Why is there so much hate at Dread?

What would you say the issues with Returns were? Because they already said they were changing the counter-based combat mechanics and the threeeee deeeee is also out since its not on 3DS. Shooting for Super Metroid status is a mighty high bar, but I didn't see a reason to think the game would be only mediocre. I am hoping its at least Fusion level. To me it looks like it's going to have the same issues as Samus Returns, MercurySteam are mediocre developers at best, like a western Artoon/Arzest.
I've read this every year for the past ten years now. This was a really weak e3. Possibly the weakest ever.
People are afraid of liking something that isn't some imaginary perfect creation that only exists in their head and will invent any amount of reasons to trash a perfectly good product to cope. Among the "problems" I've seen are:Why is there so much hate at Dread?

you can't let humorless, joyless cunts ruin this kind of stuff for you

The best source I could find is from the Internet Archive. Bing also seems to produce more useful results for searches like "amiibo binaries" than Google does. It's getting harder to find those dumps, you got any reliable sites?
Yes, they just unlock stuff that's already in a game. The NFC tags in Amiibos are very limited (info from http://3dbrew.org/wiki/Amiibo):Do the amiibos only let you unlock stuff already in the game? At least the e-reader cards actually had the full data in the code bar thing on the card.
With a blank (new) unwritten tag, you can write whatever you want to every page of memory. Once you do that, certain pages become read-only and the tag won't allow you to overwrite their contents. Other pages remain rewriteable, so you can still change some of the data on the tag, but not all of it. Amiibos use the write-once data pages to store their "type" -- that is, "what Amiibo is this?"Amiibo specs said:Model: NTAG215
Manufacturer: NXP Semiconductor
Page size: 4 bytes
Page count: 135 pages (540 bytes)
Data pages: 126 pages (504 bytes)
They only go after targets they think they can damage and bend to their will. Western developers usually bend the knee without hesitation (and those who don't fall in line can be damaged or even canceled in some cases), but plenty of Japanese developers respond to SJW complaints with "lol fuck off gaijin" and ignore further complaints. So far it seems only Sony, Capcom, Bandai/Namco and whatever lads develop the Dead or Alive games have fully (or partially) submitted to SJW pressure. The rest don't give a damn. They go easy on Japan but throw a shitfit if a western dev puts a sexy woman in their game, I think in their logic because they virtue signal they assume any dev in the US putting a sexy girl is virtue signaling as well and what they're signaling is "I'm pro Gamergate" because they really are that binary in their thinking.
Of course some of them get butthurt about even Japanese as well, they're just overall inconsistent and hypocritical.
They haven't been innovative for decades, or arguably even centuries. They've been conquered quite a few times over the years and previous regimes (like good ol' Chairman Mao) have all but destroyed the notion of self-sufficiency and innovation among the survivors and bred out any tendencies toward self-respect or pride in skilled craftsmanship. To them it's simply cheaper and easier to let the rest of the world innovate, steal the innovations by whatever means are necessary and then try to imitate as much as they can. What is the deal with China? They used to be innovators in the past, what happened? Why can all they do is copy today?
Well, they're not wrong. E3's just been in a tail spin for a long time now.I've read this every year for the past ten years now.
