E3 (but not really) 2022

Woo boy, I wonder what's going to be regurgitated for today. Seems like there aren't that many games to actually announce so I'm thinking that Flintlock and Super People are gonna get mentioned again.

You are right about regurgitation. Capcom has announced that they won’t show a single new game during their presentation. How exciting.

Shut up. Thats a good thing. Dont give MS ideas. Everyone should follow in their footsteps. Fuck exclusives. Imagine if TV shows and movies were exclusive to what brand of TV you owned.
It isnt though, when they have to sell their console they make interesting unique games that wont explode in sales but are good and appeal to niche audiences. When they don't have to push hardware everything is going to be mass appeal heavily monetized shit everywhere forever and you can see that happening right now.

Who needs new games when Capcom has a crazy backlog of shit they could do remasters and collections on
They still wont even release half their shit, it'll be ports of the same shit over and over but never BoF, Dino Crisis, Power Stone etc

Although not all to related to (not) E3 since the game hasn't been shown off, but a bunch of demos for upcoming games are being discussed, Selaco has released a demo for their game. It's another old-school style FPS built on the GZDoom engine with inspirations from F.E.A.R. and other such games.

Not expecting much from this Capcom thing. It's only going to be 35 minutes long and they aren't showing anything new.

However, it's going to be streamed on Dorito Popes youtube channel so it's one of the "main" shows for not-E3 so who knows. I reckon they'll announcedRE8 for gamepass because that's been a rumour for a few months now.

My guesses for Capcom
RE4 showcase
Street Fighter 6 new character
New trailer for the fighting game collection out this month
Trailer for the RE2,3 and RE7 updates and maybe a shadow drop of them
Mon Hunt DLC trailer
Exoprimal trailer
Pragmata trailer
That shitty RE MP game no one cares about
Some merch
A new remaster or collection
Shill for a sale or that humble bundle they have running
And maybe if lucky a 30 second teaser for Dragon's Dogma 2

Valve has made their own little showcase? on Steam called Next Fest. All of the games listed on it are upcoming titles and have playable demos. I can say that this game looks pretty interesting. It's like Car Mechanic Simulator but for guns. It's the same publisher anyway.
That's cool and I like the whole idea of all of the games having demos, probably makes this presentation the best one so far. However the Steam UI for this event fucking sucks and doesn't have a fucking link to the YouTube stream, making the whole thing a pain in the ass. The stream itself too seems to be a little... Boring, really. Since I hopped in very late it seems like the entire stream seems to be a bunch of people talking about the games for like 10 minutes then showing another trailer.

My prediction for the Capcom Showcase in no particular order:
RE4 Remake gameplay
RE8 DLC reveal
Re: verse new trailer with new open beta (lol no one gives a shit about this POS game Capcom)
RE Outbreak Remastered trailer (doubtful but I can still dream as RE Outbreak was in the Capcom leak)
SF6 new character reveal and gameplay breakdown on the new "lobby" mode
Pragmata trailer with gameplay reveal
Mon Hun Sunbreak gameplay reveal
More Mon Hun DLC consisting of useless shit like costumes and emotes because Cap can't stop sucking the MonHun teat
That shitty Exoprimal game will have a new trailer
Mega Man Legends and Battle Network Legacy Collections (doubtful but I can still dream)
Dragon's Dogma 2 trailer as the "Oh wait we still have one more thing to show you" surprise
