Another one is "Havel the Bishop," it should be Cleric's OF Havel, the Clerics are worshipers of Havel. Combined with the mention of a Bishop in the white seance ring, the English text implies Havel is the Bishop of the Way of White, works under Lloyd, and may have had a wife and/or mistress due to the ring being on a woman's body. But in Japanese there is no singular bishop, these rings are gifts given by Lloyd to high ranking members of the Way of White.Like not mentioning that Seathe is actually related to Gwyn by marriage after becoming a Duke for example. Why would you cut that? Seriously, how retarded do you have to be to not cut that?
I also checked the DS3 re-translations real quick, and one thing to note is that the children Aldrich devoured are his own children, which is never mentioned in English.
Oh yes and how can we forget "ソルロンド" which was some how translated into Thorolund instead of Sol Londo.
One thing I remember off the top of my head is the Hornsent meaning Saint in the moral sense, not the divine, it changes the meanings of their threat to the Shamans. It's more of a "die because your are unclean scum and hope you are reborn better in the next life," sort of meaning.Apparently there’s some fucky stuff with the Elden Ring DLC translations too.
