I know that feel brother man. Maybe I should set up a gugu drive or something like that for samples/VSTs. I've lost like 99% of my samples over the years to rekt hard drives, but I have a couple neat VSTs I've bought and I have the entire FabFilter Pro bundle (the mb compressor is so fucking good).
 
Shlump has been absolutely killing it lately. The sound design of some of his songs are some of the most otherworldly I've ever heard.


 
Tear Ceremony was an alias of Todd Gautreau. His music under this name falls into two styles: electronic modulations of voices or speech, or, like the track below, beautifully repetitive themes over a dissonant, background of static-like noise.

After Tear Ceremony, Gautreau released music under the name Tapes and Topographies, exploring a slightly more droney terrain:
