It worked a treat in Rampage, but that movie has less dialog and more sustained ultraviolence than your average John Wick entry. (Also Brendan Fletcher is several rungs above The Page Entity in terms of skill.)

The interview doesn't seem to be available online (though the article with the kweer cultural recommendations is), but even without having read it it's already easy to guess that it's going to be about most or all of the following:

a) Ellen's life has never been better and she's happier and more comfortable in her dood skin than she has ever been.
b) Everything pre-poon was horrible and Ellen was just pretending to be a woman, including when she Ellen came out as a lesbian and married her lesbian wife.
c) Trans issues or more rarely LGBTQXYZ+ issues (which is just a codeword for tranny shit because post-poon she stopped talking about lesbian issues despite being a huge activist before that) are extremely important and trans "rights" are not up for debate. Ellen is proud of her fellow troons.
d) Trans people are LITERALLY BEING MURDERED as we speak and Ellen is extremely angry and frustrated.
e) Gender euphoria!
f) Something more about kweerness/trannyhood e.g. Juno, a movie about a teenage pregnancy is actually about Ellen's kweerness

When journalists say she is radiant or confident etc etc, if they believe it and aren't bullshitting, I think they're just picking up on her nervous energy and the tension in the room. I'm sure Ellen does seem "confident"- confident that she can assert her ideology and ruin someone's career if they step out of line. Congratulations you're an HR crybully you tiny manlet

I wonder if the actors decided to cut their salaries and do a profit share based on what the movie made instead. I hope so simply because them being forced to confront how unprofitable Troon dramas are would be funny. Otherwise they'd get their cash and only the studio would see the abysmal returns. Now the actors get to see their residual check for a few bucks that will disappear in less than a year

This is also their first magazine issue to have two different covers but they're not different shots of the same person. Kate Winslet is the star of the second cover instead of a different shot of Ellen.
What I find hilarious is Kate manages to look manlier in her photo than Ellen does. Especially Ellen's second photo which looks like an awkward lesbian profile pic. Too bad that wasn't the one they went with
