TBH I think it might be a mistake over focusing on Tesla (I have been doing this myself). We should focus on Musks overall wealth as he has many other companies some heavily backed by the government. Tesla is a good chip to fall but his downfall will require the government turning on him.

Tesla’s stock is seemingly tied to Elon’s reputation. When he seemed like he was going to be the true power behind the Trump presidency, it shot up to a market cap of $1.5 trillion. But Elon has acted like a retard since then so now he’s lost hundreds of billions of dollars of wealth for Tesla.
