Pretty much as long as you're not a white male they'll defend you no matter what you do. They're so awful that even people I know who could be considered Social Justice Warriors can't stand them.

The NUS also swapped to jazz hands instead of clapping because it was too triggering, threw Peter Tatchell under the bus, and uninvited an anti-racism speaker because his views were Islamophobic.

Good god, they're so extreme. I'm just imagining a group of people using jazz hands to applaud, and it's.... really disturbing.

The NUS is run by the absolute worst people, the only reason anyone joins up is for the discount card. The actual union is dominated by jumped up little Trotskys that squeal about nothing all the time.

It really is awful, I attended a conference last year and it was terrible. Full of SJWs and tyrants.

I can't give too much details without powerlevelling, but thanks to being at the conference I was made a part of the NUS LBGT Facebook group (which has over 2k members, so I'm not too worried about sharing this),

Oh I have no doubt it was a tumblrina either way. Last I was on there I recall feminists running around trying to create a "tranny friendly" radical feminism so it probably has to do with that.

Looking back at it, maybe they are just calling themselves radical I have no idea. Either way it was cringy.

I've run into SJWs the most on political sites, most notably DailyKos. It needs be noted that actual users of the site and actual progressives fucking hate these motherfuckers, for the exact reason of them being cancerous shitheels. I rarely post anymore, but when I do, it's to give some SJW or another a black eye because I cannot be intimidated and give zero fucks. Worse, I know how to operate in the rules, which annoys them to no end.

During one thread (it's been deleted since), I got into a furball with one of these "GENDER IS A SOCIAL CONSTRUCT" morons, and they cited some scientific study that, in turn, referenced John Money. This is like the argument equivalent of handing me a loaded firearm.
